This tutorial was made in PSP X2, but can also be made in the other versions.

 

Here you can download the materials.

It contains: 4 tubes - 1 texture - 1 font.

Marif, thank you so much for your beautiful tube(s).

Open the font and minimize it, or load fonts by Tools of font FXplorer - Click 'Load Fonts (by Folder) - click on the font you want and it's in your font in PSP.

 

Here you can download plugin FM Tile Tools.

If you have placed everything in it's folder, you can start :-)

 

Step 1

Set your foreground color to #c1c4c9.

Set your background color to #000000 (black).

Open a transparent image of 650 x 450 pixels.

Flood fill your image with your background color.

Step 2

Layers - New raster layer.

Set your foreground to Texture - find texture "Lk6" - Angle 0 - Scale 100 - see image below:

Flood fill your layer with this gradient.

Lower the Opacity of this layer to 20.

Effects - Edge effects - Enhance more - repeat 1x.

Layers - Duplicate - Image - Mirror.

Layers - Merge - Merge all (Flatten).

Step 3

Layers - New raster layer.

Set your foreground back to color (remove the texture checkmark).

Selections - Load/save selection - Load selection from Alpha channel - load selection "ahoi_1".

Set your background to gradient "Foreground- background" - Linear - with these settings:

Flood fill the selection with it.

Selections - Select none.

Lower the Opacity of this layer to 28.

Effects - 3D Effects - Drop shadow:

Vert 1 - Hor 2 - Deckfähigkeit 100 - Unschärfe 1 - Farbe schwarz.

Effects - Plugins - FM Tile Tools - Blend Emboss - default settings - repeat 1x.

Step 4

Layers - New raster layer.

Selections - Load/save selection - Load selection from Alpha channel - load selection "ahoi_2".

Flood fill the selection 2x with your foreground color.

Selections - Select none.

Step 5

Layers - New raster layer.

Selections - Load/save selection - Load selection from Alpha channel - load selection "ahoi_3".

Set your background to gradient "Foreground- background" - Linear - with these settings:

Flood fill the selection with this gradient.

Effects - Texture effects - Blinds - with these settings:

Selections - Select none - Image - Mirror.

Step 6

Layers - New raster layer.

Selections - Load/save selection - Load selection from Alpha channel - load selection "ahoi_4".

Set your background to the following gradient:

Flood fill the selection with it.>

Selections - Select none.

Layers - Duplicate.

Image - Resize - 90% - All layers not checked.

Effects - 3D Effects - Drop shadow:

Vert und Hor 5 - Deckfähigkeit 45 - Unschärfe 10 - Farbe schwarz.

Repeat with Vert and Hor to minus 5.

Step 7

Layers - New raster layer.

Selections - Load/save selection - Load selection from Alpha channel - load selection "ahoi_5".

Flood fill the selection with your foreground color.

Place it right in the middle of the bar.

Effects - 3D Effects - Drop shadow:

Vert und Hor 1 - Deckfähigkeit 100 - Unschärfe 1 - Farbe schwarz.

Layers - Duplicate - Image - Mirror.

Step 8

Layers - New raster layer.

Selections - Load/save selection - Load selection from Alpha channel - load selection "ahoi_6".

Flood fill the selection with your background gradient.

Adjust - Blur - Gaussian blur - 20.

Selections - Select none - Layers - Duplicate.

Image - Resize - 80% - All layers not checked.

Place this small rectangle in the middle of the big rectangle - see main image.

Effects - 3D Effects - Drop shadow:

Vert und Hor 0 - Deckfähigkeit 100 - Unschärfe 5 - Farbe schwarz.

Layers - Merge - Merge down.

Layers - Duplicate.

Image - Mirror - Image - Flip.

Step 9

Copy tube "Marif_2007_03Mars_lady0162".

Paste as a new layer on your working image.

Image - Resize - 90% - All layers not checked.

Place this tube in the middle of your image.

Effects - 3D Effects - Drop shadow:

Vert und Hor 5 - Deckfähigkeit 50 - Unschärfe 10 - Farbe schwarz.

Step 10

Copy tube "Anker".

Paste as a new layer on your working image.

Place the "anker" on the small rectangle - see main image.

Effects - 3D Effects - Drop shadow - same settings as before.

Step 11

Image - Rotate - Turn clockwise.

Activate your Text tool - font ChocolateBoxDecor - Size 36 - with these settings:

Type your text.

Effects - 3D Effects - Drop shadow:

Vert und Hor 2 - Deckfähigkeit 100 - Unschärfe 5 - Farbe schwarz.

Image - Rotate - Quarter turn.

Place your text so that the first letter is in the box.

Step 12

Copy tube "Ahoi_Rahmen".

Paste as a new layer on your working image.

Step 13

Add your name and/or watermark.

Save your crea as a jpg file and you're done!
