This tutorial was made in PSP X, but can also be made in the other versions.

 

For this lesson you need Animation Shop (AS)

and the following plugins:

Eye Candy 4000 - Water Drops

Xero - Fritillary and Porcelain

It contains: 3 tubes - 1 gradient - 1 font.

Place the gradient in your Gradient folder.

Open the font and minimize it.

Step 1

Open the tubes in PSP - minimize them for now.

Open a transparent image of 500 x 500 pixels.

Step 2

Set your foreground color to #740e0a (or at your choice).

Set your background color to #b1996b (or at your choice).

Step 3

Set your foreground to gradient 'Foreground-background' - Linear - Angle 0 - Repeats 01 - Invert not checked - see image below:

Step 4

Copy tube 'PatryMists_NewYear03'.

Paste as a new layer on your working image.

Place it right below.

Step 5

Copy tube 'mysticrd06_diva'.

Paste as a new layer on your working image.

Image - Mirror.

Place her on the left side, against the edge.

Step 6

Effects - Plugins - Xero - Porcelain - default settings.

Layers - Arrange - Move down.

Layers - Merge - Merge all (Flatten).

Step 7

Image - Add borders - 2 pixels - foreground color.

Selections - Select all.

Selections - Modify - Contract - 5 pixels.

Selections - Float.

Step 8

Effects - 3D effects - Cutout:

Vert and Hor 0 - Opacity 100 - Blur 25 - black.

Step 9

Effects - Plugins - Xero - Fritillary - default settings.

Step 10

Selections - Select none.

Step 11

Activate your Text tool - font Vivaldi - Size 30 - see image below:

Close your foreground color - set your background to gradient 'L-M-Silvering' - with these settings:

Step 12

Type the text 'Happy New Year'.

Place it on top of your crea - rotate if you like.

Step 13

Copy tube 'Annarella'.

Paste as a new layer on your working image.

Place it in one of the corners.

Lower the Opacity of this layer to 50.

Add your name and/or watermark.

Layers - Merge - Merge all (Flatten).

Step 14

Layers - Duplicate - repeat 1x.

You now have 3 layers.

Close the 2 top layers.

Activate the bottom layer.

Step 15

Activate your Freehand selection - Point to point - with these settings:

Select the radius from the bottle - see image below:

Step 16

Effects - Plugins - Eye Candy 4000 - Water Drops - with these settings:

Click for the color in the big square - color white (#ffffff).

Step 17

Close this layer.

Open and activate the middle layer.

Effects - Plugins - Eye Candy 4000 - Water Drops - click Random Seed 1x.

Step 18

Close this layer.

Open and activate the top layer.

Effects - Plugins - Eye Candy 4000 - Water Drops - click Random Seed 1x.

Step 19

Close this layer.

Selections - Select none.

Step 20

Open and activate the bottom layer.

Activate your Freehand selection - Point to point - same settings as before.

Select the glass - see image below:

Step 21

Effects - Plugins - Eye Candy 4000 - Water Drops - with these settings:

Click in the big square - choose color #b1996b (background color).

Step 22

Close this layer.

Open and activate the middle layer.

Effects - Plugins - Eye Candy 4000 - Water Drops - click Random Seed 1x.

Step 23

Close this layer.

Open and activate the top layer.

Effects - Plugins - Eye Candy 4000 - Water Drops - click Random Seed 1x.

Step 24

Selections - Select none.

Step 25

Save your crea as a PSP Animation Shop file or as a Pspimage.

Step 26

Open Animation Shop (AS).

Open the crea you just saved in AS.

Step 27

Edit - Select all.

Animation - Frame properties - 10.

Step 28

View - Animation.

You now can see how your animation looks.

If you are satisfied:

Save your crea as a gif file and you're done!
