This tutorial was made in PSP X2, but can also be made in the other versions.

 

For this tutorial you need Animation Shop

 

you can download the materials.

It contains: 3 tubes - 1 background.

Step 1

Open the tubes and the background in PSP - minimize them for now.

Step 2

Open a transparent image of 600 x 450 pixels.

Selections - Select all.

Step 3

Open picture 'starBG'.

Step 4

Edit - Copy.

Back to your working image - Paste into the selection.

Step 5

Selections - Select none.

Step 6

Copy tube 'SpookyTree Corner-LJT'.

Step 7

Paste as a new layer on your working image.

Step 8

Image - Resize - 100% - All layers not checked.

Step 9

Place it in the lower left corner.

Step 10

Copy tube 'V-pumpkinpatch2004'.

Step 11

Paste as a new layer on your working image.

Step 12

Image - Resize - 80% - All layers not checked.

Step 13

Place it in the lower right corner - see my example.

Step 14

Layers - New raster layer.

Add your watermark.

Step 15

Layers - Merge - Merge all (Flatten).

Step 16

Layers - Convert background to raster layer.

Step 17

Image - Resize - 90% - All layers not checked.

Selections - Select all.

Selections - Float - Selections - De-float.

Step 19

Open tube 'BT-WackyWitch-sm'.

Step 20

Image - Mirror.

Step 21

Image - Resize - 50% - All layers checked.

Edit - Copy.

Paste as a new layer on your working image.

Step 23

Place the witch on the right side.

Only the witch part is in your image - see my example.

Selections - Invert - press Delete.

Step 25

Edit - Paste as a new layer.

Place her a little bit to the left.

Step 27

Press Delete.

Step 28

Edit - Paste as a new layer.

Move her a little bit further to the left.

Edit - Paste as a new layer.

Move her again a little bit further to the left.

Edit - Paste as a new layer.

Move her again a little bit further to the left.

Edit - Paste as a new layer.

Move her again a little bit further to the left.

Press Delete.

Edit - Paste as a new layer.

Move her again a little bit further to the left.

Edit - Paste as a new layer.

Move her again a little bit further from the selection.

Close all your witch layers.

Activate your background layer (raster 1).

Selections - Crop to canvas.

Copy image 'starBG'.

Back to your working image - paste into the selection.

Effects - 3D effects - Inner bevel - with these settings:

Selections - Select none.

Open raster 2, but stay on your background layer.

Edit - Copy merged.

Open Animation Shop (AS).

Step 52

Edit - Paste - As a new animation.

Back to PSP.

Close raster 2 - Open raster 3.

Edit - Copy merged.

Back to AS: Edit - Paste - After current frame.

Back to PSP.

Close raster 3 - Open raster 4.

Edit - Copy merged.

To AS: Edit - Paste - After current frame.

Back to PSP.

Close raster 4 - Open raster 5.

Edit - Copy merged.

To AS: Edit - Paste - After current frame.

Repeat this until all the witches are in AS (I have 8 frames).

Click in frame 1.

Edit - Select all (Ctrl+A).

Animation - Frame properties - 40.

Step 69

Animation - Resize animation - Width 500 pixels.

View - Animation.

You now can see how your animation looks.

If you are satisfied:

Save your crea as a gif file.

Click 3x Next - click 1x Finish and you're done!
