This tutorial was made in PSP X2, but can also be made in the other versions.

 

Here you can download the materials.

It contains: 5 tubes - 1 brush - 1 mask.

Here you can download the plugins Visman (all VM plugins are included) and FM Tile Tools.

If you have placed everything in it's folder, you can start :-)

 

Step 1

Set your foreground to color #6e6c6c.

Set your background to color #000000 (black).

Open a transparent image of 600 x 450 pixels.

Set your foreground to gradient "Foreground-background" - with these settings:

Flood fill your image with this gradient.

Adjust - Blur - Gaussian blur: 10.

Adjust - Add/remove noise - Add noise: 5.

Step 2

Layers - New raster layer.

Flood fill this layer with your foreground color.

Open image "Dom" in PSP.

Activate your working image.

Layers - New masker layer - From image - find mask "Dom" - with these settings:

Layers - Merge - Merge group.

Move this layer to the right.

Step 3

Layers - Duplicate - Image - Mirror.

Move this layer, so that the tower as a whole looks - see image below:

Where the finger is, erase carefully the hard edges a bit with a soft eraser, eg Feines Haar.

Erase also the hard edge at the bottom of the layer.

Step 4

Copy tube "PatryMists_06_Time_12".

Paste as a new layer on your working image.

Image - Resize - 65% - All layers not checked.

Place it in the upper right corner.

Effects - Plugins - FM Tile Tools - Blend Emboss - default settings.

Lower the Opacity of this layer to 20.

Adjust - Hue and saturation - Colorize - with these settings:

Step 5

Copy tube "Marif_2007_03Mars_face0298".

Paste as a new layer on your working image.

Lower the Opacity of this layer to 24.

Effects - Plugins - Blend Emboss - default settings - repeat 1x.

Adjust - Hue and saturation - Colorize - same settings as before.

Step 6

Layers - Duplicate - Image - Mirror.

Effects - Plugins - VM Distortion - Radiator - default settings - repeat 1x.

Effects - Plugins - Blend Emboss - default settings - repeat 1x.

Slide or rotate this layer as you want, it can look different every time.

Erase carefully everything you can see of this layer on the head of the woman.

Step 7

Copy tube "jet-woman06-oktober-2007".

Paste as a new layer on your working image.

Image - Resize - 55% - All layers not checked.

Adjust - Sharpness - Unsharp mask - with these settings:

Effects - 3D Effects - Drop shadow:

Vert and Hor 1 - Opacity 100 - Blur 1 - color black.

Repeat with Vert and Hor to minus 1.

Effects - 3D Effects - Drop shadow:

Vert and Hor 5 - Opacity 100 - Blur 20 - color #808080.

Step 8

Layers - New raster layer.

Activate your Brush tool - find brush "Crazy".

Click 1x with black in the lower left corner.

Step 9

Copy tube "Bildere".

Paste as a new layer on your working image.

Setting a few touches as you like.

Step 10

Copy tube "Crazy-Rahmen".

Paste as a new layer on your working image.

Step 11

Add your name and/or watermark.

Save your crea as a jpg file and you're done!
