This tutorial was made in PSP 9, but can also be made in the other versions.

Here you can download the materials.

It contains: 4 tubes - 1 brush - 2 pattern - 1 gradient - 1 font.

Open the font and minimize it, or load fonts by Tools of font FXplorer - Click 'Load Fonts (by Folder) - click on the font you want and it's in your font in PSP.

For this lesson you need Animation Shop (AS)

and the following plugin:

Filter Factory Gallery M - Motion Trail

If you have placed everything in it's folder, you can start :-)

Step 1

Open a transparent image of 550 x 450 pixels.

Activate your Pen tool - Line style Solid - Widt 3.

Set your foreground to gold pattern "goldbeads".

Close your background color.

Draw a line from the bottom left corner to the upper right corner.

Layers - Convert to raster layer.

Click with your Magic wand in the left part.

Activate your bottom layer.

Flood fill this layer with gradient "hu" - with these settings:

Selections - Invert.

Activate your gradient - Invert checked.

Flood fill with this part with this gradient.

Selections - Select none.

Step 2

Layers - New raster layer.

Click on your Selection tool - Rectangle.

Custom selection:

with these settings:

Flood fill the selection with the gold pattern.

Selections - Modify - Contract - 2 pixels.

Flood fill with your gradent (remove the check mark in Invert).

Step 3

Copy tube "Beautygirl".

Paste into the selection.

Selections - Select none.

Layers - Arrange - Bring to top.

Layers - Duplicate.

Effects - Distortion effects - Wind - Right - 100.

Layers - Arrange - Move down.

Effects - Edge effects - Enhance.

Activate the top layer.

Layers - Merge - Merge down.

Layers - Duplicate - Image - Mirror.

Place this image down, untill the lower left corner is on the line - see main image.

Step 4

Layers - New raster layer.

Move this layer above layer 2.

Set your background to gold pattern "goldpattern".

Activate your Brush tool - find brush "Gitterherz" (Size 270).

Click 1x in the upper left corner.

Layers - Duplicate.

Image - Mirror - Image - Flip.

Step 5

Layers - New raster layer.

Custom selection - with these settings:

Flood fill with the gold pattern.

Selections - modify - Contract - 2 pixels.

Flood fill with your gradient - remove the check mark in Invert.

Flood fill the selection with this gradient.

Effects - Plugins - Filter Factory Gallery M - Motion Trail - with these settings:

Selections - Select none.

Layers - Duplicate.

Image - Mirror - Image - Flip.

Step 6

Activate your Text tool - Font Holiday hardcore - Size 30.

Set your foreground to gold pattern "goldpattern".

Set your background to gradient "hu" - with these settings:

Type your text on the top rectangel.

Draw your text in the height a bit,

so it grows and the width a bit smaller, until you like it.

Effects - 3D Effects - Drop shadow:

Vert 2 - Hor 5 - Opacity 100 - Blur 15 - color #661b03.

Step 7

Copy tube "Dcornerline".

Paste as a new layer on your working image.

Place it in the middle of the bottom rectangle.

Step 8

Copy tube "flareC".

Paste as a new layer on your working image.

Place it in the middle of the circle.

Layers - Arrange - Move down.

Name this layer "star" - you need it for the animation.

Step 9

Copy tube "Perle".

Past as a new layer on your working image.

Place the pearl in the middle of the star.

Activate your top layer.

Step 10

Layers - New raster layer.

Selections - Select all.

Flood fill the selection with gold pattern "goldbeads".

Selections - Modify - Contract - 2 pixels.

Flood fill with your gradient.

Selections - Modify - Contract - 2 pixels.

Flood fill with the gold pattern.

Selections - Modify - Contract - 2 pixels.

Press delete.

Selections - Select none.

Step 11

Add your name and/or watermark.

If you don't want so make the anmation, save your crea as a jpg file and you're done!

Part 2

Animation

Step 12

Activate the star layer.

Layers - Duplicate.

Image - Resize - 55% - All layers not checked.

Place this star in the middle of the big star.

Close the layer of the small star.

Save as image 1.jpg.

Step 13

Close the star layer - open the layer of the small star.

Save as image 2.jpg.

Step 14

Close both star layers.

Save as image 3.jpg.

Step 15

To AS: File - Wizard Animation.

Clik Next 3x.

Enter the number 15.

Click Next.

Click on Add image.

Go to your folder where you saved the 3 images.

Click on the 1st image

repeat this until all 3 images are in this screen:

Click Next - click Finish.

Your animation will appear on your screen.

Click View - Animation - watch your animation.

If you like it, you can save your work as a gif file!
