This tutorial was made in PSP X6, but can also be made in the other versions.
For this tutorial you need Animation Shop (AS)
and the following plugins:
Alien Skin Eye Candy 5: Impact - Backlight (preset in zip)
Alien Skin Xenofex 2 - Constellation
Greg's Factory Output Vol. II - Pool Shadow
MuRa's Meister - Perspective Tiling
Nik Software - Color Efex Pro 3.0 Complete
You can download the plugins
Place or install the plugins in your Plugin folder.
If you have to install plugins, you have to restart your
PSP, so they work immediately.
you can download the materials.
It contains: 2 tubes - 2 masks - 1 font - 1 preset.
Open the font and minimize it, or load fonts by Tool of font FXplorer and it's in your font in PSP.
Double click on the preset and it's automatically in the right plugin.

Step 1
Open the tubes and the masks in PSP - minimize them for now.
Set your foreground color to #d8cabd - or at your choice.
Set your background color to #c2a07a - or at your choice.
Set your foreground to gradient 'Sunburst' - with these settings:
Open a transparent image of 900 x 600 pixels.
Flood fill your image with your gradient.
Step 2
Selections - Select all.
Copy tube '19062015-@rletteCreative'.
Back to your working image - paste into the selection.
Selections - Select none.
Effects - Image effects - Seamless tiling - default settings.
Adjust - Blur - Radial blur - with these settings:
Step 3
Layers - Duplicate - Image - Mirror.
Change the Blend mode of this layer to Multiply.
Lower the Opacity of this layer to 50.
Layers - Merge - Merge down.
Layers - Duplicate.
Change the Blend mode of this layer to Multiply or at your choice.
Effects - Plugins - Nik Software - Color Efex Pro 3.0 Complete - Bi-Color
Filters - click upper right on 'Cool/warm nr. 2' - see image below:
Step 4
Layers - New raster layer.
Flood fill this layer with a color of your choice.
Layers - New mask layer - From image -
find mask 'Jillmask_verdi' - with these settings:
Layers - Merge - Merge group.
Effects - Image effects - Seamless tiling - default settings.
Layers - Merge - Merge all (Flatten).
Step 5
Layers - Duplicate.
Image - Resize - 80% - All layers not checked.
Image - Rotate - Free rotate - Right - 90 - nothing checked.
Image - Rotate - Free rotate - Right - 26 - nothing checked.
Effects - Plugins - Filters Unlimited 2.0 - &<Bkg Kaleidoscope> - 4QFlip
ZBottomR - with these settings:
Place it on the right side, with the point against the edge.
Layers - Duplicate - Image - Mirror.
Layers - Merge - Merge down.
Change the Blend mode of this layer to Hard light.
Effects - Plugins - Simple - Half Wrap.
Step 6
Copy tube 'tubed_by_vivian14'.
Paste as a new layer on your working image.
Step 7
Layers - New raster layer.
Flood fill this layer with color white (#ffffff).
Layers - New mask layer - From image -
find mask 'Narah-mask-0765' - with these settings:
Layers - Merge - Merge group.
Step 8
Click on your Selection tool - Rectangle.
Custom selection - with these settings:
Selections - Promote selection to layer.
Effects - Texture effects - Weave - foreground color and black - with these
settings:
Selections - Select none.
Effects - Plugins - MuRa's Meister - Perspective Tiling - with these settings:
Effects - 3D effects - Drop shadow:
Vert and Hor 1 - Opacity 60 - Blur 20 - background color.
Step 9
Activate your top layer.
Open tube '19062015-@rletteCreative'.
Image - Resize - Height 500 pixels.
Edit - Copy.
Paste as a new layer on your working image.
Place them on the left side.
Effects - 3D effects - Drop shadow - at your choice.
Step 10
Activate your top layer.
Activate your Text tool - font BigApple - Size 26 (for PSP 9 size 45) - see
image below:
Set your colors darker.
Type 'Happy'.
Place it on top of your crea.
Turn it as you like.
Layers - Convert to raster layer.
Effects - Plugins - Nik Software - Color Efex Pro 3.0 Complete - Bi Color
Filters - click upper right on Color Set Brown 4 - see image below:
Effects - Plugins - Alien Skin Eye Candy 5: Impact - Backlight - click tab
Settings - click on setting 'Backlight Magnifique2016' - see image below:
Effects - Plugins - Nik Software - Color Efex Pro 3.0 Complete - Bi Color
Filters - click upper right on Color Set Brown 4 - see image below:
Step 11
Make sure you're still on the top layer.
Activate your Text tool - font BigApple - Size 48 (for PSP 9 size 72) - see
image below:
Type '2016'.
Place it a little to the right and at the bottom of your crea.
Layers - Convert to raster layer.
Effects - Plugins - Nik Software - Color Efex Pro 3.0 Complete - Midnight - click upper right on
Midnight Sepia - see image below:
Effects - Plugins - Nik Software - Color Efex Pro 3.0 Complete - Bi Color
Filters - click upper right on Color Set Brown 3 - see image below:
If you use your own colors, look for colors that fit with it, or use an other
plugin.
Step 12
Image - Add borders - Symmetric - 2 pixels - foreground color.
Image - Add borders - Symmetric - 50 pixels - background color.
Select this border with your Magic wand - with these settings:
Effects - Plugins - Greg's Factory Output Vol. II - Pool Shadow - default
settings.
Adjust - Add/remove noise - Add noise - with these settings:
Selections - Invert.
Effects - Plugins - AAA Frames - Foto Frame - with these settings:
Selections - Select none.
Step 13
Layers - New raster layer.
Add your name and/or watermark.
Layers - Merge - Merge visible.
Effects - Plugins - Nik Software - Color Efex Pro 3.0 Complete - Tonal
Contrast - with these settings:

Activate your Freehand selection - Point to point - with these settings:
Make a selection around the bulbs - see image below:
Effects - Plugins - Alien Skin Xenofex 2 - Constellation - with these settings:
Selections - Select none.
Edit - Copy.
To AS: Edit - Paste - As a new animation.
Step 15
Back to PSP.
Click Undo 2x.
Effects - Plugins - Alien Skin Xenofex 2 - Constellation - press Random Seed
1x.
Selections - Select none.
Edit - Copy.
To AS: Edit - Paste - After current frame.
Step 16
Back to PSP.
Click Undo 2x.
Effects - Plugins - Alien Skin Xenofex 2 - Constellation - press Random Seed
1x.
Selections - Select none.
Edit - Copy.
To AS: Edit - Paste - After current frame.
Step 17
In AS: View - Animation.
You now can see how your animation looks.
If you are satisfied:
Save your crea as a gif file and you're done!
If you got a screen, click 3x Next - click 1x Finish.
Give your crea a name and Save it.
