This tutorial was made in PSP X2, but can also be made in the other versions.

For this lesson you need Animation Shop (AS)

and the following plugins:

Alien Skin Eye Candy 5: Impact - Perspective Shadow

Filters Unlimited 2.0 - Bkg Designer sf10 I - ALFs Border Mirror Bevel

(If you don't have it in Unlimited, you can use: Alf's Border FX - Mirror Bevel)

Flaming Pear - Flexify 2

You can download the plugins

Place or install the plugins in your Plugin folder.

If you have to install plugins, you have to restart your PSP, so they work immediately.

It contains: 7 tubes - 1 color label - 1 picture - 1 animation.

The tubes are by Copiede, KTS, Nurso and Zenyra's tubes and misted.

The other tubes are unknown to me.

Step 1

Open the tubes, the color label and the picture in PSP.

Resize them and minimize them for now.

Adjust - Sharpness - Unsharp mask: 1 - 64 - 4.

Set your foreground color to #fbca4a.

Set your background color to #993e12.

Set your foreground to gradient 'Foreground-background' - Sunburst - with these settings:

Open a transparent image of 800 x 600 pixels.

Flood fill this image with your gradient.

Step 2

Selections - Select all.

Layers - New raster layer.

Copy picture 'image 2'.

Paste into the selection.

Selections - Select none.

Change the Blend mode of this layer to Soft light.

Layers - Merge - Merge all (Flatten).

Effects - Edge effects - Enhance.

Step 3

Selections - Select all.

Copy tube 'boog'.

Paste into the selection.

Selections - Select none.

Effects - 3D effects - Drop shadow - at your choice.

Step 4

Activate your background layer.

Copy tube 'AutumnSerenityBomen'.

Paste as a new layer on your working image.

Place it on the right side.

Effects - Plugins - Custom plugin - Emboss_3 - default settings.

Move this layer below Layer 1.

Layers - Duplicate - Image - Mirror.

Image - Resize - 80% - All layers not checked.

Place this layer above Layer 1.

Place it nicely against each other so it fits nicely - see image below:

Layers - Merge - Merge visible.

Your layer palette looks like this:

Step 5

Effects - Geometric effects - Perspective Horizontal - with these settings:

Layers - Promote background to layer.

Activate your Magic wand - Outside checked - with these settings:

Click with your Magic wand in the transparent parts.

Press Delete.

Flood fill the selection with your gradient.

Effects - Plugins - Flaming Pear - Flexify 2 - with these settings:

Selections - Select none.

Step 6

Layers - New raster layer.

Flood fill this layer with your gradient.

Effects - Plugins - Filters Unlimited 2.0 - Bkg Designer sf10 I - ALFs Border Mirror Bevel (or if you don't have it in Unlimited, just Alf's Border FX - Mirror Bevel - default settings) - with these settings:

Repeat 1x.

Layers - Arrange - Move down - under your merged layer.

Step 7

Activate your top layer.

Copy tube 'Zenyra_-_Beauté136'.

Paste as a new layer on your working image.

Image - Resize - 1x with 80% - 1x with 85% - All layers not checked.

Place her to the left - see main image.

Effects - Plugins - Alien Skin Eye Candy 5: Impact - Perspective Shadow - with these settings:

Step 8

Copy tube 'kTs_uJf28'.

Paste as a new layer on your working image.

Image - Resize - 80% - All layers not checked.

Place it right below - see main image.

Effects - 3D effects - Drop shadow - at your choice.

Step 9

Copy tube 'NS_103_1009'.

Paste as a new layer on your working image.

Image - Resize - 2x with 80% - All layers not checked.

Place them upper left.

Effects - 3D effects - Drop shadow:

Vert and Hor 4 - Opacity 50 - Blur 5 - color black.

Place this layer below Layer 2 (the woman's layer).

Step 10

Open tube 'fall is here ani'.

Copy one of the layers - or see main image.

Paste as a new layer on your working image.

Image - Resize - 90% - All layers not checked.

Place them on the left side.

Effects - 3D effects - Drop shadow - same settings as before.

Step 11

Copy tube 'WordArt Gerrie'.

Paste as a new layer on your working image.

Image - Resize - 2x with 80% - All layers not checked.

Place the text upper right - see main image.

Effects - 3D effects - Drop shadow - at your choice.

Step 12

Image - Add borders - Symmetric - 3 pixels - foreground color.

Image - Add borders - Symmetric - 5 pixels - background color.

Image - Add borders - Symmetric - 10 pixels - foreground color.

Select the last border with your Magic wand.

Effects - Reflection effects - Kaleidoscope - with these settings:

Selections - Select none.

Step 13

Image - Add borders - Symmetric - 5 pixels - background color.

Image - Add borders - Symmetric - 1 pixel - foreground color.

Image - Add borders - Symmetric - 2 pixels - background color.

Image - Add borders - Symmetric - 3 pixels - foreground color.

Step 14

Image - Add borders - Symmetric - 30 pixels - background color.

Select this border with your Magic wand.

Effects - Reflection effects - Kaleidoscope - same settings as before.

Adjust - Blur - Radial blur - with these settings:

Selections - Invert.

Effects - 3D effects - Drop shadow:

Vert and Hor 5 - Opacity 100 - Blur 40 - color black.

Selections - Select none.

Step 15

Layers - New raster layer.

Add your watermark.

Layers - Merge - Merge all (Flatten).

Edit - Copy.

Step 16

To AS: Edit - Paste - As a new animation.

Press 1x Ctrl - click 7x Ctrl+L.

You now have 8 frames.

If you have to many, just press delete.

Click in frame 1 - Edit - Select all.

Step 17

Open animation 'Leaf Animation 2' in AS.

Click in frame 1 - Edit - Select all - Edit - Copy.

Step 18

Back to your main animation.

Edit - Paste - In selected frame.

Put it on a nice place - repeat as much as you like.

You can also mirror your leaf animation.

Step 19

Animation - Frame properties - 30.

Step 20

View - Animation.

You now can see how your animation looks.

If you are satisfied:

Save your crea as a gif file and you're done!
