This tutorial was made in PSP X9, but can also be made in the other versions.

For this tutorial you need Animation Shop (AS)

and the following plugins:

AAA Frames - Foto Frame

Filters Unlimited 2.0 - &<Bkg Designer sf10II>

FM Tile Tools - Roll Image

Graphics Plus - Cross Shadow

Mehdi - Sorting Tiles

You can download the plugins

Place or install the plugins in your Plugin folder.

If you have to install plugins, you have to restart your PSP, so they will work right away.

It contains: 1 color label - 1 alpha working image - 5 tubes.

The tubes are by @nn, Anita, Gerrie and Nikita.

The colors, Blend mode and Opacity in this lesson are choosen by these materials.

If you use your own materials, you may have to change them.

Note the H and S of your background color.

Step 1

Open the tubes and the alpha image in PSP - minimize them for now.

Shift+D to copy your alpha image.

Close the original, the copy is your working image.

Set your foreground color to #8a9198 (or at your choice).

Set your background color to #2e353f (or at your choice).

The extra colors are: #ccd1d7 and #bfcbd7.

Selections - Select all.

Flood fill the selection with your foreground color.

Step 2

Selections - Select all.

Copy tube 'tube_danimage_anita_1'.

Paste into the selection.

Selections - Select none.

Adjust - Blur - Radial blur - with these settings:

Step 3

Effects - Plugins - Mehdi - Sorting Tiles - with these settings:

Effects - Plugins - AAA Frames - Foto Frame - with these settings:

Effects - Plugins - FM Tile Tools - Roll Image - with these settings:

Effects - Image effects - Seamless tiling - default settings - see image below:

Effects - Plugins - Filters Unlimited 2.0 - &<Bkg Designer sf10II> - DIS Refractor 1 - see image below:

Step 4

Layers - New raster layer.

Selections - Load/save selection - Load selection from Alpha channel - load selection 'Selectie 1' - with these settings:

Set your Flood fill tool to 50 - see image below:

Flood fill the selection with white.

Do you have other colors, see what's best for you.

Effects - Texture effects - Weave - colors #ccd1d7 and #bfcbd7 - with these settings:

Selections - Select none.

Step 5

Layers - Duplicate.

Image - Mirror - Image Flip (Hor. Mirror).

Layers - Merge - Merge down.

If you use a dark color, lower the Opacity to 50.

Step 6

Image - Add borders - Symmetric not checked - background color - with these settings:

Select this border with your Magic wand.

Effects - Plugins - Graphics Plus - Cross Shadow - default settings - see image below:

Selections - Select none.

Step 7

Layers - New raster layer.

Selections - Load/save selection - Load selection from Alpha channel - load selection 'Selectie 3' - with these settings:

Set your Flood fill tool to 50 - see image below:

Flood fill the selection with white.

Adjust - Add/remove noise - Add noise - with these settings:

Selections - Select none.

Step 8

Layers - New raster layer.

Selections - Load/save selection - Load selection from Alpha channel - load selection 'Selectie 4' - with these settings:

Set your Flood fill tool to 50 - see image below:

Flood fill the selection with white.

Selections - Select none.

Effects - Distortion effects - Wave - with these settings:

Step 9

Copy tube 'magnifique element sterren'.

Paste as a new layer on your working image.

Step 10

Copy tube '1293040110_paysages_nikita'.

Paste as a new layer on your working image.

Place the tree on the right side - see main image.

Effects - 3D effects - Drop shadow - at your choice.

Step 11

Copy tube 'tube_danimage_anita_1'.

Paste as a new layer on your working image.

Image - Resize - 70% - All layers not checked.

Place her on the right side - see main image.

Effects - 3D effects - Drop shadow - at your choice.

Step 12

Copy tube '@nn_181112_accent_stars_White_blue_tdstudio'.

Paste as a new layer on your working image.

Effects - Image effects - Offset - with these settings:

Effects - 3D effects - Drop shadow - at your choice.

Step 13

Layers - New raster layer.

Add your name and/or watermark.

Step 14

Activate layer 2.

Copy tube 'ster klein'.

Paste as a new layer on your working image.

Place it on the left side on the wave - see main image.

Adjust - Sharpness - Sharpen.
