This tutorial was made in PSP X2, but can also be made in the other versions.

For this lesson you need Animation Shop (AS)

and the following plugins:

Alien Skin Eye Candy 5: Impact - Perspective Shadow

Graphics Plus - Cross Shadow

Greg's Factory Output Vol. II - Pool Shadow

You can download the plugins

Dubble click on the preset 'Ger_schadow.f1s', it installs itself automatically in the right plugin folder.

(With me it shows up in settings as: blue_dust_ps.)

Place the plugins in your Plugin folder.

If you have to install plugins, you have to restart your PSP, so they work immediately.

you can download the materials.

It contains: 6 tubes - 1 mask - 1 preset.

Double click on the preset, it's automacally in the right plugin.

The tubes are by JHanna and SKF.

The other tubes are unknown to me.

If they are yours, please let me know so I can give you the proper credits.

Step 1

Open the tubes in PSP.

Resize them and minimize them for now.

Adjust - Sharpness - Unsharp mask: 1 - 64 - 4.

Set your foreground color to #c9bac5.

Set your background color to #8f918f.

Open picture 'JHanna_450_background'.

This is your working image.

Step 2

Click 1x Shift+D - Image - Mirror.

Edit - Copy - minimize this image for now.

Back to your working image.

Layers - New raster layer.

Selections - Select all.

Edit - Paste into the selection.

Selections - Select none.

Step 3

Layers - New mask layer - From image - load mask '1217491136_masques' - with these settings:

Layers - Merge - Merge group.

Effects - 3D effects - Drop shadow:

Vert and Hor 4 - Opacity 100 - Blur 20 - background color.

Step 4

Copy tube 'JHanna_492_tube'.

Paste as a new layer on your working image.

Place it on the right side.

Effects - Plugins - Alien Skin Eye Candy 5: Impact - Perspective shadow - choose by settings 'Ger schadow' - click OK (in my settings it is 'blue_dust_ps).

Step 5

Copy tube 'oog'.

Paste as a new layer on your working image.

Place it on the left side - see main image.

Effects - Plugins - Alien Skin Eye Candy 5: Impact - Perspective shadow - choose by settings 'Ger schadow' - click OK (in my settings it is 'blue_dust_ps).

Step 6

Layers - New raster layer.

Add your name and/or watermark.

Layers - Merge - Merge visible.

Step 7

Layers - New raster layer.

Activate your Text tool - choose a nice font - Size 48.

Type the text: One day I will wipe away

every tear from your eyes.

Layers - Duplicate.

Activate the bottom text layer.

Effects - Distortion effects - Wind - Left - 100.

Effects - 3D effects - Drop shadow - same settings - color #ffffff (white).

Activate your top layer.

Layers - Merge - Merge down.

Step 8

Copy tube 'Boeddha'.

Paste as a new layer on your working image.

Place him down and a little to the left - see main image.

Layers - Merge - Merge all (Flatten).

Step 9

Image - Add borders - 3 pixels - foreground color.

Image - Add borders - 1 pixels - background color.

Image - Add borders - 3 pixels - foreground color.

Select the last border with your Magic wand - Outside checked - with these settings:

Step 10

Open tube 'Waterdruppels'.

Select a drop and copy it.

Paste as a new layer on your working image.

Effects - Plugins - Graphics Plus - Cross Shadow - Only the last to 128 - all the rest to 50.

Selections - Invert.

Effects - 3D effects - Drop shadow:

Vert and Hor 4 - Opacity 100 - Blur 20 - background color.

Repeat with Vert and Hor to minus 4.

Selections - Select none.

Step 11

Activate your Selection tool - Rectangle - with these settings:

Open tube 'Waterdruppels'.

Select a drop (I used the 4th of the second row) and copy it.

Paste as a new layer on your working image.

Place it nicely under the eye - see main image.

Edit - Special copy - Copy merged.

To AS: Edit - Paste - As a new animation.

Step 12

Back to PSP.

Edit - Undo.

Move the drop a little down.

Edit - Special copy - Copy merged.

To AS: Edit - Paste - After current frame.

Step 13

Back to PSP.

Edit - Undo.

Move the drop a little down.

Edit - Special copy - Copy merged.

To AS: Edit - Paste - After current frame.

Step 14

Back to PSP.

Edit - Undo - repeat 1x until the drop is gone.

Open tube 'Waterdruppels'.

Activate one of the other drops (I took the third of the top row).

Edit - Copy.

Paste as a new layer on your working image.

Move this one also a little down.

Edit - Special copy - Copy merged.

To AS: Edit - Paste - After current frame.

Step 15

Repeat the drops until they are with the bottom text line.

Lower the Opacity of the last drop layer to 24.

When you're finished with all the seps,

Step 16

Click in AS in the first frame.

Animation - Frame properties: 40.

Animation - Resize animation - Width 500 pixels (optional).

File - Save as - Give your crea a name - click Save.

When you get an other screen, click 3x Next and 1x Finish.
