This tutorial was made in PSP X2, but can also be made in the other versions.

 

For this tutorial you need Animation Shop (AS)

and the following plugin:

Filters Unlimited 2.0 - &<Bkg Designer sf10 I>

Place or install the plugins in your Plugin folder.

It contains: 3 tubes - 1 image - 1 mask.

Step 1

Open the tubes and the mask in PSP - minimize them for now.

Set your foreground color to #988c66 - or at your choice.

Set your background color to #463a11 - or at your choice.

Set your foreground to gradient 'Radial' - with these settings:

Open a transparent image of 750 x 550 pixels.

Flood fill your image with your foreground color.

Step 2

Layers - New raster layer.

Flood fill this layer with your gradient.

Layers - New mask layer - From image - find mask 'music-clipart' - with these settings:

Layers - Merge - Merge all (Flatten).

Effects - Edge effects - Enhance.

Step 3

Edit - Copy.

Effects - Texture effects - Mosaic glass - with these settings:

Edit - Paste as a new layer (it's still in memory).

Effects - Plugins - Filters Unlimited 2.0 - Special Effects 2 - Paper Roll 1 - with these settings:

Set the Blend mode of this layer to Luminance (L).

Effects - Image effects - Offset - with these settings:

Effects - 3D effects - Drop shadow:

Vert and Hor 3 - Opacity 80 - Blur 10 - background color.

Step 4

Copy tube 'Dorien_Piano_Dancer'.

Paste as a new layer on your working image.

Place him at the bottom of your crea - see main image.

Effects - 3D effects - Drop shadow:

Vert and Hor 3 - Opacity 80 - background color.

Step 5

Image - Add borders - Symmetric - 3 pixels - color black.

Image - Add borders - Symmetric not checked - with these settings:

Select this border with your Magic wand - with these settings:

Step 6

Layers - New raster layer.

Activate your gradient - Invert checked.

Flood fill your layer with this gradient.

Effects - Plugins - Filters Unlimited 2.0 - &<Bkg Designer sf10 I> - Center Mirror - default settings.

Selections - Select none.

Step 7

Activate your Magic wand - Tolerance to 17.

Select the circles on the right side.

Some times you have to click several times before it's selected.

Layers - New raster layer.

Copy tube 'kTs_31FGU08'.

Paste into the selection.

Selections - Select none.

Effects - 3D effects - Drop shadow - same settings as before or at your choice.

Step 8

Layers - New raster layer.

Add your name and/or watermark.

Layers - Merge - Merge all (Flatten).

Step 9

Edit - Copy.

To AS: Edit - Paste - As a new animation.

Click 1x Ctrl+C - click now 2x Ctrl+L.

You now have 3 frames.

Click in frame 1 - Edit - Select all.

Step 10

Open tube 'BlingSparkleNotesGold_G_PTR' in AS.

Click in the blue frame - press Delete.

Click in frame 1 - Edit - Select all - Edit - Copy.

Step 11

Back to your main animation.

Edit - Paste - Into selected frame.

Paste it on a nice place.

Step 12

Animation - Frame properties - 20.

Step 13

View - Animation.

You now can see how your animation looks.

If you are satisfied:

Save your crea as a gif file and you're done!
