This tutorial was made in PSP X2, but can also be made in the other versions.

For this lesson you need Animation Shop (AS)

and the following plugins:

Alien Skin Eye Candy 5: Nature - Smoke

Alien Skin Xenofex 2 - Lightning

Mura's Meister - Cloud

Step 1

Open the tubes in PSP - minimize them for now.

Set your foreground color to #e3ee7c (or at your choice).

Set your background color to #172947(or at your choice).

Open a transparent image of 650 x 550 pixels.

Flood fill your image with your background color.

Effects - Plugins - Mura's Meister - Cloud - with these settings:

Step 2

Copy tube 'NS_267_0809'.

Paste as a new layer on your working image.

Place it on the left side - see main image.

Effects - 3D effects - Drop shadow:

Vert and Hor 3 - Opacity 65 - Blur 7 - color black.

Step 3

Open tube 'LisaG©_Tubes_SeriesMisted_landscape031 Mistery_moon'.

Image - Resize - Height 470 pixels.

Edit - Copy.

Paste as a new layer on your working image.

Place it upper right - see main image.

Effects - 3D effects - Drop shadow - same settings as before.

Set the Blend mode of this layer to Hard light.

Lower the Opacity of this layer to 70.

Step 4

Open tube 'NS_96_0909'.

Image - Resize - Width 618 pixels.

Edit - Copy.

Paste as a new layer on your working image.

Slide it up - see main image.

Effects - 3D effects - Drop shadow - same settings as before.

Layers - Duplicate.

Slide it up against the top edge - see main image.

Set the Blend mode of this layer to Luminance (L).

Step 5

Open tube 'halloweenwitch'.

Image - Resize - Width 500 pixels.

Edit - Copy.

Paste as a new layer on your working image.

Put her on a nice place.

Effects - 3D effects - Drop shadow - same settings as before.

Step 6

Open tube 'blackwidow'.

Image - Resize - Height 250 pixels.

Edit - Copy.

Paste as a new layer on your working image.

Place the spider in the lower left corner - see main image.

Effects - 3D effects - Drop shadow - same settings as before.

Step 7

Layers - New raster layer.

Add your name and/or watermark.

Layers - Merge - Merge visible.

Effects - Plugins - Alien Skin Xenofex 2 - Lightning - with these settings:

Effects - Plugins - Alien Skin Eye Candy 5: Nature - Smoke - with these settings:

Edit - Copy.

To AS: Edit - Paste - As a new animation.

Step 8

Back to PSP.

Effects - Plugins - Alien Skin Eye Candy 5: Nature - Smoke - click 1x Random Seed - click OK.

Edit - Copy.

To AS: Edit - Paste - After current frame.

Step 9

Back to PSP.

Effects - Plugins - Alien Skin Eye Candy 5: Nature - Smoke - click 1x Random Seed - click OK.

Edit - Copy.

To AS: Edit - Paste - After current frame.

Step 10

Animation - Resize animation - Width 500 pixels.

Step 11

View - Animation.

You now can see how your animation looks.

Save your crea as a gif file and you're done!

If you got a screen, click 4x Next - click 1x Finish.
