This tutorial was made in PSP X2, but can also be made in the other versions.

For this lesson you need Animation Shop (AS)

and the following plugins:

FM Tile Tools - Blend Emboss

Andrew's Filter Collection 58 - Ghosting Picture

(you have to import this plugin into Filters Unlimited 2.0)

It contains: 7 tubes - 1 picture - 1 mask - 1 animation.

Place the mask in your mask folder.

The tubes are by Dragonblu, JackSkellington, Leny, MMDesignz and Nightangel.

Step 1

Open the tubes, the picture and the mask in PSP - minimize them for now.

Set your foreground color to #6d0f0e (or at your choice).

Set your background color to #000000 (or at your choice).

Open picture 'Achtergrond G' - this is your working image.

Step 2

Layers - New raster layer.

Selections - Select all.

Copy tube 'Haunted_House_misted_na_27[1].10.2007'.

Back to your working image - Paste into the selection.

Selections - Select none.

Effects - Plugins - FM Tile Tools - Blend Emboss - default settings.

Layers - Merge - Merge visible.

Step 3

Layers - New raster layer.

Flood fill this layer with your background color.

Layers - New mask layer - From image - find mask 'maske-34_sigrid' - with these settings:

Layers - Merge - Merge group.

Step 4

Open tube 'Leny-hallo15'.

Image - Resize - Height 300 pixels.

Edit - Copy.

Paste as a new layer on your working image.

Effects - 3D effects - Drop shadow:

Vert and Hor 3 - Opacity 75 - Blur 10 - background color.

Lower the Opacity of this layer to 47.

Step 5

Open tube 'krw-bluecrescentmoon'.

Image - Resize - Height 240 pixels.

Edit - Copy.

Paste as a new layer on your working image.

>Place the moon in the upper right corner.

Effects - 3D effects - Drop shadow - same settings as before.

Set the Blend mode of this layer to Overlay.

Step 6

Open tube 'MMDesignz_092199'.

Image - Resize - Height 440 pixels.

Edit - Copy.

Paste as a new layer on your working image.

Place her on the left side - see main image.

Effects - 3D effects - Drop shadow - same settings as before.

Step 7

Open tube 'JackSkellington_gh'.

Image - Resize - Height 350 pixels.

Edit - Copy.

Paste as a new layer on your working image.

Place him on the right side.

Effects - 3D effects - Drop shadow - same settings as before.

Step 8

Open tube 'hallo-schrift'.

Image - Resize - Width 220 pixels.

Edit - Copy.

Paste as a new layer on your working image.

Place it upper left.

Step 9

Layers - New raster layer.

Add your name and/or watermark.

Layers - Merge - Merge all (Flatten).

Step 10

Image - Add borders - Symmetric checked - 1 pixel - foreground color.

Image - Add borders - Symmetric checked - 20 pixels - white.

Set your foreground to gradient 'Foreground-background' - Sunburst - Angle 45 - Repeats 5 - Invert checked - Vert and Hor to 25.

Activate your Magic wand - Outside checked - with these settings:

Select the last border.

Flood fill the selection with your gradient.

Effects - Plugins - Filters Unlimited 2.0 - Andrew's Filter Collection 58 - Ghosting Picture - default settings.

Selections - Invert.

Effects - 3D effects - Drop shadow:

Vert and Hor 3 - Opacity 31 - Blur 10 - foreground color.

Repeat with Vert and Hor to -3 (minus 3).

Selections - Select none.

Step 11

Edit - Copy.

To AS: Edit - Paste - As a new animation.

Press 1c Ctrl+C - press now 15x Ctrl+L.

You now have 16 frames.

Click in frame 1 - Edit - Select all.

Step 12

Open animation 'druipel blood uit hand queen animatie' in AS.

Click in frame 1 - Edit - Select all - Edit - Copy.

Step 13

Back to your main animation.

Edit - Paste - Into selected frame.

Place the hand below the skull - see main image.

Step 14

View - Animation.

You now can see how your animation looks.

Click: View - Animation to end it.

Step 15

Animation - Resize animation - Width 500 pixels.

Save your crea as a gif file and you're done!

If you got a screen, click 4x Next - click 1x Finish.
