This tutorial was made in PSP X2, but can also be made in the other versions.
For this lesson you need Animation Shop (AS)
and the following plugins:
Adjust - Variations
FM Tile Tools - Blend Emboss
Greg's Factory Output Vol. II - Pool Shadow
You can download the plugins
Place or install the plugins in your Plugin folder.
If you have to install plugins, you have to restart your
PSP, so they work immediately.
you can download the materials.
It contains: 1 tube - 1 mask - 1 font - 2 animations.
Place the mask in your Mask folder.
Open the font and minimize it, or load fonts by Tool of font FXplorer and it's in your font in PSP.
The tube is by PSP-Gerry.

Step 1
Open the tubes in PSP - minimize them for now.
Set your foreground color to #b6b4a6 (or at your choice).
Set your background color to #3d3c31 (or at your choice).
Open a transparent image of 750 x 550 pixels.
Flood fill your image with your background color.
Effects - Plugins - Greg's Factory Output Vol. II -
Pool Shadow - with these settings:
Step 2
Layers - New raster layer.
Flood fill this layer with your foreground color.
Layers - Load/save mask - Load mask from disk -
load mask 'Brujita_navidad_0001' - with these settings:
Layers - Merge - Merge all (Flatten).
Effects - Plugins - Greg's Factory Output Vol. II -
Pool Shadow - same settings as before.
Effects - Plugins - FM Tile Tools - Blend Emboss - default settings.
Step 3
Open tube 'Gerry-Kerst4-03 november 2007'.
Image - Resize - 1x with 80% and 1x with 90% - All layers not checked.
Close the watermark layer and the bow layer.
Edit - Copy merged.
Paste as a new layer on your working image.
Image - Mirror.
Place her on the right side - see main image.
Effects - 3D effects - Drop shadow:
Vert and Hor 2 - Opacity 80 - Blur 10 - color black.
Or what suits your colors.
Step 4
Layers - New raster layer.
Add your name and/or watermark.
Layers - Merge - Merge all (Flatten).
Step 5
Image - Add borders - Symmetric - 10 pixels - color white.
Activate your Magic wand - Outside checked - with these settings:
Select the border with your Magic wand.
Set your foreground to gradient 'Foreground-background' - Linear - Angle 45 -
Repeats 4 - Invert not checked.
Flood fill the selection with your gradient.
Selections - Invert.
Effects - 3D effects - Drop shadow:
Vert and Hor 1 - Opacity 80 - Blur 10 - color black.
Repeat with Vert and Hor to minus 1.
Selections - Select none.
Effects - Plugins - Adjust - Variations.
Click Original - Midtones and Show Clipping checked - click Darker - click
OK.
Step 6
Activate your Text tool - font Chancery (in PSP shown as Black Chancery) - Size
30 - with these settings:
Type your text and place it upper right - see main image.
Pull the text with the middle square a little down, so your text is a bit
larger.
Layers - Convert to raster layer.
Effects - 3D effects - Drop shadow:
Vert and Hor 1 - Opacity 80 - Blur 10 - color black.
Step 7
Selections - Select all.
Selections - Float - Selections - Defloat.
Step 8
Open one of the floaties in AS.
Click in frame 1 - Edit - Copy.
Back to PSP.
Paste as a new image.
Set your foreground to this pattern:
Activate your Flood fill tool - Tuning mode to 'None'.
Flood fill the selection with this pattern.
Selections - Select none.
Edit - Copy special - Copy merged.
To AS: Edit - Paste - As a new animation.
Step 9
Activate your floaties - click in frame 2.
Edit - Copy.
Back to PSP.
Paste as a new image.
Set your foreground to this pattern - same settings.
Activate your working image.
Click Undo until you have the selection back.
Flood fill the selection with the second pattern.
Selections - Select none.
Edit - Copy special - Copy merged.
To AS: Edit - Paste - After current frame.
Step 10
Activate your floaties - click in frame 3.
Edit - Copy.
Back to PSP.
Paste as a new image.
Set your foreground to this pattern - same settings.
Activate your working image.
Click Undo until you have the selection back.
Flood fill the selection with the third pattern.
Selections - Select none.
Edit - Copy special - Copy merged.
To AS: Edit - Paste - After current frame.
Step 11
Amimation - Resize animation - Width 800 pixels.
Save your crea as a gif file and you're done!
If you got a screen, click 3x Next - click 1x Finish.
