This tutorial was made in PSP X2, but can also be made in the other versions.

 

For this tutorial you need Animation Shop (AS)

and the following plugins:

Alien Skin Eye Candy 5: Impact - Perspective Shadow

Filters Unlimited 2.0 - Andrew's Filters 10

Flaming Pear - Flexify 2

Greg's Factory Output Vol. II - Pool Shadow

You can download the plugins

Place or install the plugins in your Plugin folder.

Step 1

Open the materials in PSP - minimize them for now.

Set your foreground color to #c1aad4 (or at your choice).

Set your background color to #100d18 (or at your choice).

Note the H and S of your background color.

Set your foreground to gradient 'Sunburst' - with these settings:

Open a transparent image of 700 x 500 pixels.

Step 2

Selections - Select all.

Copy image 'fond'.

Paste into the selection.

Adjust - Hue and saturation - Colorize: 0 - 0 - or your own H and S.

Selections - Select none.

Effects - Geometric effects - Perspective Horizontal - with these settings:

Repeat 1x with the same settings.

Step 3

Effects - Plugins - Flaming Pear - Flexify 2 - with these settings:

Effects - Plugins - Filters Unlimited 2.0 - Andrew's Filters 10 - Sin Prism... - default settings - see image below:

Play a bit with the settings of this plugin.

You can also use plugin Adjust - Variations.

Step 4

Open tube 'k@rine_dreams _Misted_Woman_1082_Mai 2010'.

Image - Resize - Height 550 pixels.

Edit - Copy.

Paste as a new layer on your working image.

Move her a little to the right.

Effects - Plugins - Alien Skin Eye Candy 5: Impact - Perspective Shadow.

Click tab Settings - choose 'Drop Shadow, Low' - see image below:

Step 5

Copy tube 'Image10'.

Paste as a new layer on your working image.

Put the butterfly on a nice place.

Effects - Plugins - Alien Skin Eye Candy 5: Impact - Perspective Shadow - same settings as before.

Step 6

Copy tube 'calguisbirds2619'.

Paste as a new layer on your working image.

Image - Resize - 40% - All layers not checked.

Adjust - Sharpness - Unsharp mask: - 1 - 60 - 4.

Place them against the right edge.

Effects - Plugins - Alien Skin Eye Candy 5: Impact - Perspective Shadow - same settings as before.

Step 7

Layers - New raster layer.

Add your name and/or watermark.

Layers - Merge - Merge all (Flatten).

Step 8

Image - Add borders - Symmetric - 3 pixels - foreground color.

Image - Add borders - Symmetric - 1 pixel - background color.

Image - Add borders - Symmetric - 30 pixels - foreground color.

Select this border with your Magic wand - with these settings:

Flood fill the selection with your gradient.

Effects - Plugins - Greg's Factory Output Vol. II - Pool Shadow - with these settings:

Selections - Select none.

Edit - Copy.

Step 9

To AS: Edit - Paste - As a new animation.

Step 10

Back to PSP.

Click Undo 2x.

Effects - Plugins - Greg's Factory Output Vol. II - Pool Shadow - with these settings:

Selections - Select none.

Edit - Copy.

Step 11

To AS: Edit - Paste - After current frame.

Step 12

Back to PSP.

Click Undo 2x.

Effects - Plugins - Greg's Factory Output Vol. II - Pool Shadow - with these settings:

Selections - Select none.

Edit - Copy.

Step 13

To AS: Edit - Paste - After current frame.

Selections - Select all.

Animation - Frame properties - 25.

Step 14

View - Animation.

You now can see how your animation looks.

If you are satisfied:

Save your crea as a gif file and you're done!

If you got a screen, click 3x Next - click 1x Finish.

Name it and save it.
