This tutorial was made in PSP X2, but can also be made in the other versions.

 

For this lesson you need Animation Shop (AS)

and the following plugin:

Greg's Factory Output Vol. II - Pool Shadow

You can download the plugin

Place or install the plugins in your Plugin folder.

If you have to install plugins, you have to restart your PSP, so they work immediately.

It contains: 4 tubes - 1 background - 1 animation.

 

The tubes are by Guismo, KTS and Nadine.

The other tubes are unknown to me.

Step 1

Open the tubes and the background in PSP - minimize them for now.

Set your foreground color to #d4c6b0 (or at your choice).

Set your background color to #292928 (or at your choice).

Open a transparent image of 750 x 550 pixels.

Flood fill your image with your background color.

Step 2

Layers - New raster layer.

Selections - Select all.

Copy image 'Achtergrond'.

Paste into the selection.

Selections - Select none.

Change the Blend mode of this layer to Multiply.

Step 3

Copy tube 'kTs_13bK_m4 copie'.

Paste as a new layer on your working image.

Place the clock on top in the middle - see main image.

Effects - 3D effects - Drop shadow:

Vert and Hor 2 - Opacity 65 - Blur 2 - color black.

Step 4

Open tube 'cal-guis-3-elegance-2102008[1]'.

Image - Resize - Height 500 pixels.

Edit - Copy.

Paste as a new layer on your working image.

Place her on the left side.

Effects - 3D effects - Drop shadow:

Vert minus 19 - Hor minus 21 - Opacity 67 - Blur 2 - color black.

Step 5

Open tube 'Nadine_Newyear-020'.

Image - Resize - Height 500 pixels.

Edit - Copy.

Paste as a new layer on your working image.

Place it upper right.

Effects - 3D effects - Drop shadow:

Vert and Hor 2 - Opacity 65 - Blur 2 - color black.

Step 6

Open tube 'rw-SparklingChampagne~mist-12-09-07'.

Image - Resize - Width 500 pixels.

Edit - Copy.

Paste as a new layer on your working image.

Place the bottle right below.

Effects - 3D effects - Drop shadow - same settings as before.

Step 7

Layers - New raster layer.

Add your name and/or watermark.

Layers - Merge - Merge all (Flatten).

Step 8

Image - Add borders - Symmetric - 2 pixels - foreground color.

Image - Add borders - Symmetric - 2 pixels - background color.

Image - Add borders - Symmetric - 2 pixels - foreground color.

Image - Add borders - Symmetric - 2 pixels - background color.

Image - Add borders - Symmetric - 2 pixels - foreground color.

Step 9

Image - Add borders - Symmetric - 2 pixels - background color.

Image - Add borders - Symmetric - 2 pixels - foreground color.

Image - Add borders - Symmetric - 2 pixels - background color.

Edit - Copy.

Step 10

Selections - Select all.

Selections - Modify - Contract - 16 pixels.

Selections - Invert.

Effects - Plugins - Greg's Factory Output Vol. II - Pool Shadow - default settings.

Selections - Select none.

Edit - Copy.

To AS: Edit - Paste - As a new animation.

Step 11

Press 1x Ctrl+C - press now 23x Ctrl+L.

You now have 24 frames.

Click in frame 1 - Edit - Select all.

Step 12

Copy animation 'SimoneAni145-mng' in AS.

Click in frame 1 - Edit - Select all - Edit - Copy.

Step 13

Activate your main animation.

Edit - Paste - In selected frame.

Put the firework on a nice place or see main image.

Step 14

Copy animation 'SimoneAni-NewYearFirework-1' in AS.

Click in frame 1 - Edit - Select all - Edit - Copy.

Step 15

Activate your main animation.

Edit - Paste - In selected frame.

Put the firework on a nice place or see main image.

Step 16

Animation - Resize animation - Width 800 pixels.

Save your crea as a gif file and you're done!

If you got a screen, click 3x Next - click 1x Finish.

Step 17
