This tutorial was made in PSP X2, but can also be made in the other versions.

For this lesson you need Animation Shop (AS)

and the following plugins:

Eye Candy 3 - Drop Shadow

Greg's Factory Output Vol. II - Pool Shadow

You can download the plugins

Place or install the plugins in your Plugin folder.

If you have to install plugins, you have to restart your PSP, so they work immediately.

It contains: 8 tubes - 2 patterns - 1 animation.

The tubes are by Gini, Guismo, HJR Designs, KTS, Nadine and Pascale.

The other tubes are unknown to me.

Step 1

Open the tubes and the patterns in PSP - minimize them for now.

Set your foreground color to #e0e8ec (or at your choice).

Set your background color to #3c5053 (or at your choice).

Set your background to pattern 'top 1' - Angle 0 - Scale 100.

Open a transparent image of 650 x 550 pixels.

Flood fill your image with this pattern.

Step 2

Layers - New raster layer.

Selections - Select all.

Copy image 'top 2'.

Paste into the selection.

Selections - Select none.

Change the Blend mode of this layer to Multiply.

Step 3

Open tube 'maripositas'.

Image - Resize - Width 643 pixels.

Edit - Copy.

Paste as a new layer on your working image.

Place it up, against the edge - see main image.

Step 4

Open tube 'Firework 6_Mist_@el 2007'.

Image - Resize - Width 737 pixels.

Edit - Copy.

Paste as a new layer on your working image.

Place it upper right.

Change the Blend mode to Luminance (L).

Effects - Edge effects - Enhance.

Step 5

Open tube 'cal-guis-mistnewyar-16112008'.

Image - Resize - Width 430 pixels.

Edit - Copy.

Paste as a new layer on your working image.

Place the clock upper left - see main image.

Change the Blend mode to Luminance (L).

Lower the Opacity of this layer to 75.

Step 6

Open tube 'ValentineToast_MistedByGini_01-15-06'.

Image - Resize - 350 pixels.

Edit - Copy.

Paste as a new layer on your working image.

Place it right below - see main image.

Change the Blend mode to Luminance (L).

Effects - 3D effects - Drop shadow:

Vert and Hor 2 - Opacity 65 - Blur 2 - color black.

Step 7

Open tube 'hjr_misted_oliebollen'.

Image - Resize - Width 375 pixels.

Paste as a new layer on your working image.

Move them down against the edge.

Effects - 3D effects - Drop shadow:

Vert and Hor 2 - Opacity 65 - Blur 2 - color white.

Step 8

Open tube 'Pascale_110609_Photos_Model_Fashion'.

Image - Resize - Height 450 pixels.

Edit - Copy.

Paste as a new layer on your working image.

Place her left below.

Effects - Plugins - Eye Candy 3 - Drop Shadow - with these settings:

Step 9

Copy tube 'GERRIE or gerrie 5'.

Paste as a new layer on your working image.

Place it upper right.

Effects - 3D effects - Drop shadow:

Vert and Hor 2 - Opacity 65 - Blur 2 - color black.

Step 10

Layers - New raster layer.

Add your name and/or watermark.

Layers - Merge - Merge all (Flatten).

Step 11

Image - Add borders - Symmetric - 1 pixel - background color.

Activate your Freehand selection - Point to point - Mode to Replace - Feather and Fluent 0 - Anti alias checked.

Make a selection around the oliebollen (oil balls?) with the fireworks.

Effects - Plugins - Alien Skin Xenofex 2 - Constellation - with these settings:

Selections - Select none.

Edit - Copy.

To AS: Edit - Paste - As a new animation.

Step 12

Back to PSP.

Click Undo 2x, so you have the selection back.

Effects - Plugins - Alien Skin Xenofex 2 - Constellation - click Random Seed 1x - click OK.

Selections - Select none.

Edit - Copy.

To AS: Edit - Paste - After current frame.

Step 13

Back to PSP.

Click Undo 2x, so you have the selection back.

Effects - Plugins - Alien Skin Xenofex 2 - Constellation - click Random Seed 1x - click OK.

Selections - Select none.

Edit - Copy.

To AS: Edit - Paste - After current frame.

Step 14

Back to PSP.

Click Undo 2x, so you have the selection back.

Effects - Plugins - Alien Skin Xenofex 2 - Constellation - click Random Seed 1x - click OK.

Selections - Select none.

Edit - Copy.

Step 15

To AS: Edit - Paste - After current frame (you now have 4 frames).

Click in frame 1 - Edit - Select all.

Step 16

Open animation 'Bulles_champagne' in AS.

Click in frame 1 - Edit - Select all - Edit - Copy.

Step 17

Activate your main animation.

Edit - Paste - In selected frame.

Place the bubbles just above the glass.

Again: Edit - Paste - In selected frame.

Place these bubbles just above the other glass.

Step 18

Animation - Resize animation - Width 650 pixels.

View - Animation.

You now can see how your animation looks.

If you are satisfied, save your crea as a gif file and you're done!

If you got a screen, click 3x Next - click 1x Finish.
