This tutorial was made in PSP X2, but can also be made in the other versions.

For this lesson you need the following plugins:

FM Tile Tools - Blend Emboss

You can download it

Place or install the plugins in your Plugin folder.

If you have to install plugins, you have to restart your PSP, so they work immediately.

you can download the materials.

It contains: 4 tubes - 1 kidtube - 2 masks - 1 font.

Place the masks in your Mask folder.

Open the font and minimize it, or load fonts by Tool of font FXplorer and it's in your font in PSP.

You can find the scrapkit 'Red and Green Xmas' and scroll down.

The tubes are by GraffixLover, GranGran and Tiffany.

The other tubes are unknown to me.

If they are yours, please let me know so I can give you the proper credits.

Step 1

Open the tubes in PSP - minimize them for now.

You can adjust the tube by the C and S of your foreground or background color.

Set your foreground color to #f8f6f6 (or at your choice).

Set your background color to #710606 (or at your choice).

Open a transparent image of 700 x 700 pixels.

Flood fill your image with your background color.

Step 2

Layers - New raster layer.

Flood fill this layer with your foreground color.

Layers - Load/save mask - Load mask from disk - load mask 'Vix_ChristmasMask4' - with these settings:

Layers - Merge - Merge all (Flatten).

Effects - Plugins - FM Tile Tools - Blend Emboss - default settings.

Step 3

Layers - Load/save mask - Load mask from disk - load mask 'Becky_Mask028' - same settings as before.

Layers - Merge - Merge group.

Step 4

Open the scrapkit 'redandgreenXmas'.

Copy Raster 3.

Paste as a new layer on your working image.

Effects - Texture effects - Mosaic glass - with these settings:

Effects - 3D effects - Drop shadow:

Vert and Hor 3 - Opacity 65 - Blur 3 - color black.

Step 5

Activate the scrapkit.

Copy Raster 11.

Paste as a new layer on your working image.

Image - Resize - 600 pixels - All layers not checked.

Image - Rotate - Free rotate - Left - 20.

Effects - 3D effects - Drop shadow - same settings as before.

Step 6

Activate the scrapkit.

Copy Copy of raster 2.

Paste as a new layer on your working image.

Image - Resize - 80% - All layers not checked.

Effects - 3D effects - Drop shadow - same settings as before.

Step 7

Activate the scrapkit.

Copy Copy (2) of raster 2.

Paste as a new layer on your working image.

Image - Resize - 80% - All layers not checked.

Step 8

Activate your Magic wand - Outside checked - with these settings:

Click with your Magic wand in the middle of the frame.

Copy tube 'GraffuxLover_12_06_Cristmastreescene05'.

Paste into the selection.

Selections - Select none.

Effects - 3D effects - Drop shadow - same settings as before.

Step 9

Copy tube 'GGChristmas_033' (if you use your own tube, make sure the height 390 pixels).

Paste as a new layer on your working image.

Effects - 3D effects - Drop shadow - same settings as before.

Step 10

Layers - New raster layer.

Add your name and/or watermark.

Step 11

Decorate your crea with tubes from the kit.

Layers - Merge - Merge visible.

Step 12

Image - Resize - Width 700 pixels - All layers checked.

Adjust - Sharpness - Unsharp mask - 1 - 64 - 1.

Step 13

Save your crea as a gif file - click tab Partly transparency - 1e and 5e checked.

Click tab Colors - 256 - 0 - 2e checked - click OK and give your crea a name - click save and you're done!
