This tutorial was made in PSP X2, but can also be made in the other versions.

 

For this lesson you need the following plugins:

Alf's Power Toys - Wave (import in Filters Unlimited 2.0)

Alien Skin Eye Candy5: Impact - Glass

Alien Skin Xenofex 2 - Constellation

Andromeda - Perspective

It contains: 2 tubes - 1 selection - 1 font - 1 color image.

 

The woman tube is by Guismo.

The other tubes are unknown to me.

Step 1

Open the tubes and the color image in PSP - minimize them for now.

Step 2

Set your foreground color to #dcf01 (or at your choise).

Set your background color to #7a1302 (or at your choise).

Step 3

Open a transparent image of 850 x 600 pixels.

Step 4

Set your foreground to gradient 'Foreground-background' - Sunburst - with these settings:

Step 5

Flood fill your image with this gradient.

Effects - Image effects - Seamless tiling - default settings.

Effects - Plugins - Mehdi - Curves - with these settings:

Effects - Plugins - Filters Unlimited 2.0 -

Alf's Power Toys - Wave - with these settings:

Effects - Plugins - Mehdi - Sorting Tiles - with these settings:

Step 6

Layers - New raster layer.

Selections - Load/save selection - Load selection from disk -

load selection 'Ger sel 13' - with these settings:

Flood fill the selection with your background color.

Effects - Plugins - ScreenWorks - Point Array - default settings.

Effects - Plugins - Alien Skin Eye Candy 5: Impact - Glass.

Click tab Settings - choose Clear - see image below:

Click OK.

Selections - Select none.

Step 7

Open tube 'calguisxmas24112011'.

Copy layer 'Boules'.

Paste as a new layer on your working image.

Image - Resize - 85% - All layers not checked.

Place the boules as you can see in my example.

Step 8

Open tube 'calguisxmas24112011'.

Copy layer 'exclusif 2011'.

Paste as a new layer on your working image.

Image - Resize - 75% - All layers not checked.

Place her on the right side - see my example.

Effects - 3D effects - Drop shadow:

Vert and Hor 6 - Opacity 65 - Blur 20 - black.

Step 9

Open tube 'SILVER TREE BY HOTT'.

Image - Resize - Longest side 300 pixels.

Edit - Copy.

Paste as a new layer on your working image.

Image - Resize - 90% - All layers not checked.

Place the tree on the hand of the woman.

Image - Add borders - Symmetric - 2 pixels - foreground color.

Step 10

Layers - Duplicate.

Image - Resize - 80% - All layers not checked.

Select the border you just added.

Selections - Invert.

Effects - Plugins - Andromeda - Perspective - with these settings:

Image - Resize - 70% - All layers not checked.

Selections - Select none.

Place it on the right side.

Layers - Duplicate - Image - Mirror.

Place the 2 pieces nicely against each other - see my example.

Step 11

Activate your bottom layer.

Effects - Plugins - Filters Unlimited 2.0 -

&<BKG Designer sf10IV> - Easy Corner UpperLeft - see image below:

Activate your top layer.

Effects - 3D effects - Drop shadow:

Vert and Hor 0 - Opacity 100 - Blur 50 - black.

Add your watermark.

Step 12

Activate your Text tool - font KingthingsChristmas - with these settings:

It is possible that you need to adjust the size.

Put your text on a nice place or see my example.

Layers - Convert to raster layer.

Layers - Merge - Merge all (Flatten).

Step 13

Activate your Freehand selection - Point to point - Mode to Add (Shift) - Feather and Smooth 0 - nothing checked.

Select both Christmas trees.

Effects - Plugins - Alien Skin Xenofex 2 - Constellation - with these settings:

Edit - Copy.

Open Animation Shop (AS).

Edit - Paste - As a new animation.

Step 14

Back to PSP - click Undo until you have the selection back.

Effects - Plugins - Alien Skin Xenofex 2 - Constellation - click 1x Random Seed.

Edit - Copy.

To AS: Edit - Paste - After current frame.

Step 15

Back to PSP - click Undo until you have the selection back.

Effects - Plugins - Alien Skin Xenofex 2 - Constellation - click 1x Random Seed.

Edit - Copy.

To AS: Edit - Paste - After current frame.

Edit - Select all.

Animation - Frame properties - 15.

Step 16

Animation - Resize animation - Width 600 pixels.

Step 17

Save your crea as a gif file and you're done!

If you got a screen, click 4x Next - click 1x Finish.
