This tutorial was made in PSP X2, but can also be made in the other versions.

 

For this lesson you need Animation Shop (AS)

and the following plugins:

Filters Unlimited 2.0

FM Tile Tools - Blend Emboss

Tramage - Tow The Line

(I had to import Tow The Line into Filters Unlimited 2.0)

You can download the plugins

Place or install the plugins to your Plugin folder.

If you nave to install them, restart PSP so they work immediately.

It contains: 4 tubes - 1 mask.

Place the mask in your Mask folder.

 

The tubes are by Jet and MMDesignz.

The other tubes and the mask are unknown to me.

If they are yours, please let me know so I can give you the proper credits.

Step 1

Open the tubes in PSP - minimize them for now.

Set your foreground color to #c29a9c (or at your choice).

Set your background color to #851113 (or at your choice).

Set your foreground to gradient 'Foreground-background' - Linear - Angle 95 - Repeats 1 - Invert checked.

Open a transparent image of 650 x 550 pixels.

Flood fill your image with your background color.

Step 2

Flood fill your image with your gradient (don't take a new layer).

Layers - Load/save masks - Load mask from disk - load mask 'Mask_Heart1' - with these settings:

Layers - Merge - Merge all (Flatten).

Effects - Plugins - FM Tile Tools - Blend Emboss - default settings.

Step 3

Open tube 'MMDesignz_Cr054139'.

Image - Resize - Width 410 pixels.

Edit - Copy.

Paste as a new layer on your working image.

Place her left below - see main image.

Lower the Opacity of this layer to 62.

Effects - 3D effects - Drop shadow:

Vert and Hor 2 - Opacity 50 - Blur 3 - color black.

Step 4

Open tube 'jet-man-drawing-augustus-2007.p'.

Image - Resize - Height 300 pixels.

Edit - Copy.

Paste as a new layer on your working image.

Place him a little to the right - see main image.

Lower the Opacity of this layer to 86.

Effects - 3D effects - Drop shadow - same settings as before.

Step 5

Layers - New raster layer.

Add your name and/or watermark.

Layers - Merge - Merge all (Flatten)

Step 6

Image - Add borders - Symmetric - 1 pixel - color black.

Image - Add borders - Symmetric - 50 pixels - background color.

Activate your Magic wand - Outside checked - with these settings:

Select the last border with your Magic wand.

Activate your gradient with these settings:

Angle 45 - Repeats 4 - Invert checked.

Flood fill the selection with this gradient.

Effects - Plugins - Filters Unlimited 2.0 - Tramage - Tow The Line - default settings:

Step 7

Image - Flip.

Selections - Invert.

Effects - 3D effects - Drop shadow:

Vert and Hor 4 - Opacity 50 - Blur 20 - color black.

Repeat with Vert and Hor to minus 40.

Selections - Select none.

Step 8

Open tube 'que key'.

Image - Resize - Height 180 pixels.

Edit - Copy.

Paste as a new layer on your working image.

Place it on the right side - see main image.

Step 9

Copy tube 'SE_wordART_Valentines_3'.

Paste as a new layer on your working image.

Place it on top of your crea.

Effects - 3D effects - Drop shadow:

Vert and Hor 1 - Opacity 52 - Blur 4 - color black.

Step 10

Layers - New raster layer.

Add your name and/or watermark.

Layers - Merge - Merge all (Flatten).

Edit - Copy.

Step 11

To AS: Edit - Paste - As a new animation.

Click 1x Ctrl+C - click now 14x Ctrl+L.

You now have 15 frames.

Click in frame 1 - Edit - Select all.

Step 12

Open animation 'SimoneAni221' in AS.

Click in frame 1 - Edit - Select all - Edit - Copy.

Step 13

Back to your main animation.

Edit - Paste - Into selected frame.

Place it in the middle - see main image.

Step 14

View - Animation.

You now can see how your animation looks.

If you are satisfied:

Save your crea as a gif file and you're done!
