This tutorial was made in PSP X2, but can also be made in the other versions.

For this lesson you need the following plugins:

AAA Frames - Foto Frame

Greg's Factory Output Vol. II - Pool Shadow

You can download the plugins

Place or install the plugins in your Plugin folder.

If you have to install plugins, you have to restart your PSP, so they work immediately.

It contains: 2 tubes - 1 mask - 1 scrapkit.

Place the mask in your Mask folder.

The Scrapkit is by CatID.

The tubes are by Azyzam and Patries1.

Step 1

Open the tubes and the parts from the Scrapkit your want to use in PSP - minimize them for now.

Set your foreground color to #fffdfe (or at your choice).

Set your background color to #640203 (or at your choice).

Set your foreground to gradient 'Foreground-background' - Linear - Angle 95 - Repeats 1 - Invert checked.

Open a transparent image of 450 x 450 pixels.

Step 2

Selections - Select all.

Open scrapkit 'Broken Dreams'.

Copy paper 'Heartspaper3CatID'.

Back to your working image.

Edit - Paste into the selection.

DON'T DESELECT!

Step 3

Layers - New raster layer.

Open scrapkit 'Broken Dreams'.

Copy paper 'RedHeartspaperCatID'.

Edit - Copy.

Back to your working image.

Edit - Paste into the selection.

DON'T DESELECT!

Step 4

Layers - New raster layer.

Open scrapkit 'Broken Dreams'.

Copy paper 'RedStripesValPaperCatID'.

Edit - Copy.

Back to your working image.

Edit - Paste into the selection.

Selections - Select none.

Step 5

Activate the layer with paper 'Heartspaper3CatID'.

Image - Rotate - Free rotate - Right - 25 - nothing checked.

Image - Resize - 70% - All layers not checked.

Step 6

Activate the layer with paper 'RedHeartspaperCatID'.

Image - Rotate - Free rotate - Left - 25 - nothing checked.

Image - Resize - 70% - All layers not checked.

Step 7

Activate the layer with paper 'RedStripesValPaperCatID'.

Image - Rotate - Free rotate - Right - 45 - nothing checked.

Image - Resize - 70% - All layers not checked.

Step 8

Open scrapkit 'Broken Dreams'.

Copy tube 'OldFrameCatID'.

Paste as a new layer on your working image.

Image - Resize - 70% - All layers not checked.

Activate your Magic wand - Outside checked - with these settings:

Select the inside of the frame.

Selections - Modify - Expand - 3 pixels.

Flood fill the selection with your gradient.

Step 9

Copy tube 'Patries1_MN87-hairstyle10_14-5-09'.

Back to your working image.

Edit - Paste into the selection.

Selections - Select none.

Layers - Merge - Merge visible.

Minimize this image for now.

Step 10

Open a new transparent image of 600 x 500 pixels.

Flood fill this image with your gradient.

Layers - Load/save mask - Load mask from disk - load mask 'Mask_Heart1' - with these settings:

Layers - Merge - Merge all (Flatten).

Step 11

Activate your minimized image.

Edit - Copy.

Paste as a new layer on your new working image.

Effects - 3D effects - Drop shadow:

Vert and Hor 3 - Opacity 60 - Blur 6 - color black.

Repeat with Vert and Hor to minus 3.

Step 12

Open tube 'MMDesignz_sep08_004'.

Image - Resize - Height 450 pixels.

Edit - Copy.

Paste as a new layer on your working image.

Effects - 3D effects - Drop shadow:

Vert and Hor 3 - Opacity 60 - Blur 6 - color black.

Step 13

Decorate your crea with scrap tubes.

Step 14

Layers - New raster layer.

Add your name and/or watermark.

Layers - Merge - Merge all (Flatten).

Step 15

Image - Add borders - Symmetric - 50 pixels - color yellow.

Select this border with your Magic wand.

Flood fill the selection with your gradient.

Effects - Plugins - Greg´s Factory Output Vol. II - Pool Shadow - default settings.

Effects - Plugins - AAA Frames - Foto Frame - with these settings:

Selections - Select none.

Image - Resize - Width 500 pixels - All layers checked.

Save your crea as a jpg file and you're done!
