This tutorial was made in PSP X4, but can also be made in the other versions.
For this tutorial you need Animation Shop (AS)
and the following plugins:
Alien Skin Xenofex 2 - Constellation
AP [Lines] - Lines - SilverLining
Custom plugin - Emboss_3 (in zip)
Filters Unlimited 2.0 - &<Bkg Kaleidoscope>
MuRa's Meister - Perspective Tiling
VM Naturel - Weave Distortion
You can download the plugins
Place or install the plugins in your Plugin folder.
Place preset Emboss_3 in your Preset folder.
you can download the materials.
It contains: 6 tubes - 1 color label - 2 masks - 1 animation - 1 preset.
Place the preset (Emboss_3) in your Preset folder.
The tubes are by Macha, Mariel, DBK and PSP Magnifique Gerrie.

Step 1
Open the tubes and the masks in PSP - minimize them for now.
Set your foreground color to #ba8790 (or at your choice).
Set your background color to #7e6a73 (or at your choice).
Set your foreground to gradient 'Foreground-background' -
Linear - with these settings:
Open a transparent image of 1000 x 650 pixels.
Flood fill your image with your gradient.
Adjust - Blur - Gaussian blur - 40.
Layers - Duplicate.
Effects - Plugins - VM Natural - Weave Distortion - with these settings:
Step 2
Layers - Duplicate.
Effects - Image effects - Seamless tiling - with these settings:
Effects - Plugins - Filters Unlimited 2.0 -
&<Bkg Kaleidoscope> - 4 QSlip ZBottomL - with these settings:
Step 3
Activate your Freehand selection - Point to point - Add (Shift) - Feather and
Tolerance 0 - see image below:
Select the middle rectangle - see image below:
Press Delete.
Selections - Select none.
Close this layer for now.
Step 4
Activate layer 'Copy of Raster 1' (the middle layer).
Effects - Plugins - MuRa's Meister - Perspective Tiling - color #3c4a53 -
with these settings:
Step 5
Layers - New mask layer - From image - find mask 'Mask MapReta -27' - with
these settings:
Layers - Merge - Merge group.
Effects - 3D effects - Drop shadow:
Vert and Hor 2 - Opacity 100 - Blur 40 - color black.
Layers - Arrange - Bring to top.
Step 6
Activate your bottom layer.
Copy tube 'Tube Paysage 040 Fleurdelys'.
Paste as a new layer on your working image.
Step 7
Copy tube 'DBK_Building_002Mist'.
Paste as a new layer on your working image.
Place it between the 2 bars - see main image.
Set the Blend mode of this layer to Luminance (L).
Layers - Merge - Merge down.
Open the closed layers.
Your layer palette looks like this:
Step 8
Activate your top layer.
Copy tube 'element Macha1'.
Paste as a new layer on your working image.
Pull it with your Distortion tool, down against the lower edge - see main image.
Step 9
Layers - New raster layer.
Flood fill this layer with white (#ffffff).
Layers - New mask layer - From image -
find mask 'aditascreations_mask_13' - with these settings:
Layers - Merge - Merge group.
Effects - Plugins - AP [Lines] - Lines - SilverLining - Grid Paper - with these
settings:
Effects - Custom effects - Emboss_3 - default settings - see image below:
Set the Blend mode of this layer to Screen.
Step 10
Copy tube 'Macha_091109'.
Paste as a new layer on your working image.
Image - Resize - 90% - All layers not checked.
Place her on the right side.
Effects - 3D effects - Drop shadow - same settings as before.
Step 11
Copy tube 'element Macha 3'.
Paste as a new layer on your working image.
Place it under the leggs of the woman - see main image.
Effects - Plugins - AP [Lines] - Lines - SilverLining - Grid Paper - same
settings as before.
Effects - Custom effects - Emboss_3 - default settings.
Step 12
Copy tube 'MarieL_2008_04Avril_And03t'.
Paste as a new layer on your working image.
Place it on the left side - see main image.
Set the Blend mode of this layer to Luminance (L).
Layers - Arrange - Move down - repeat 1x.
Your layer palette looks like this:

Image - Add borders - Symmetric - 30 pixels - white.
Image - Add borders - Symmetric - 7 pixels - background color.
Image - Add borders - Symmetric - 10 pixels - foreground color.
Image - Add borders - Symmetric - 30 pixels - white.
Select this last border with your Magic wand - with these settings:
Effects - Plugins - AP [Lines] - Lines - SilverLining - Grid Paper - same
settings as before.
Effects - Custom effects - Emboss_3 - default settings.
Selections - Invert.
Effects - 3D effects - Chisel - color white - with these settings:
Selections - Select none.
Step 14
Layers - New raster layer.
Add your name and/or watermark.
Layers - Merge - Merge all (Flatten).
Step 15
Activate your Freehand selection.
Make a selection around the middle part of the flower - see image below:
Effects - Alien Skin Xenofex 2 - Constellation - with these settings:
Selections - Select none.
Edit - Copy.
To AS: Edit - Paste - As a new animation.
Step 16
Back to PSP.
Click Undo 2x, you now have only the selection.
Effects - Alien Skin Xenofex 2 - Constellation - click Random Seed 1x.
Selections - Select none.
To AS: Edit - Paste - After current frame.
Step 17
Back to PSP.
Click Undo 2x, you now have only the selection.
Effects - Alien Skin Xenofex 2 - Constellation - click Random Seed 1x.
Selections - Select none.
To AS: Edit - Paste - After current frame.
Step 18
Click in frame 1 - Edit - Select all.
Animation - Frame properties - 20.
Step 19
View - Animation.
You now can see how your animation looks.

Save your crea as a gif file and you're done!
