This tutorial was made in PSP X2, but can also be made in the other versions.

 

For this tutorial you need the following plugins:

Border Mania - Frame 2

Factory Gallery H - Gridmin

Filters Unlimited 2.0 - Buttons & Frames

Greg's Factory Output Vol. II - Pool Shadow

Ulead Effects - Particle and GIF-X 2.0

You can download the plugins

Place or install the plugins in your Plugin folder.

 

you can download the materials.

It contains: 2 tubes - 1 picture - 1 selection - 1 brush.

Place the selection in your Selection folder.

Export the brush by File - Export - Custom brush to your Brush folder.

 

Permission to use the tubes

 

The tubes are by AnnaBr., JHanna and Tocha.

The other tubes are unknown to me.

If they are yours, please let me know so I can give you the proper credit.

Step 1

Open the tubes and the picture in PSP - minimize them for now.

Set your foreground color to #eed6e2 (or at your choice).

Set your background color to #a88c98 (or at your choice).

Write down the H and S of your background color.

Open a transparent image of 700 x 500 pixels.

Step 2

Selections - Select all.

Open image 'JHanna_285_background'.

If you use your own colors, you have to change it now.

Adjust - Hue and Saturation - Colorize - fill in the numbers you wrote down.

Back to your working image.

Paste into the selection.

Selections - Select none.

Effects - Plugins - Ulead Effects - Particle - with these settings:

Step 3

Layers - New raster layer.

Selections - Load/save selection - Load selection from disk - load selection 'JMsel(500x500)' - with these settings:

Step 4

Set your foreground to gradient 'Foreground-background' - Linear - Angle 45 - Repeats 2 - Invert not checked - see image below:

Flood fill the selection with this gradient.

Selections - Select none.

Image - Mirror.

Place it on the left side - see main image.

Set the Blend mode of this layer to Hard light.

Lower the Opacity of this layer to 60 - or at your choice.

Step 5

Open tube 'Tocha23370'.

Image - Resize - Height 450 pixels.

Edit - Copy - Paste as a new layer on your working image.

Place her on the right side, next to the selection - see main image.

Effects - 3D effects - Drop shadow:

Vert and Hor 3 - Opacity 65 - Blur 10 - color black (#000000).

Step 6

Copy tube 'anna.br_flor_by_Warwick_Orme-06-01-10'.

Paste as a new layer on your working image.

Place it totaly to the left against the edge.

Effects - 3D effects - Drop shadow - same settings as before.

Step 7

Layers - New raster layer.

Activate your Brush tool - find brush 'everything' - with these settings:

Stamp 2x (on the same place) with your foreground color upper left - see main image.

Give a Drop shadow at your choice.

Step 8

Layers - New raster layer.

Add your name and/or watermark.

Layers - Merge - Merge all (Flatten).

Step 9

Image - Add borders - Symmetric - 3 pixels - foreground color.

Select this border with your Magic wand - with these settings:

Effects - Plugins - Border Mania - Frame 2 - with these settings:

Selections - Select none.

Step 10

Image - Add borders - Symmetric - 30 pixels - foreground color.

Select this border with your Magic wand.

Effects - Plugins - Greg's Factory Output Vol. II - Pool Shadow - default settings - see image below:

Effects - Plugins - Filter Factory Gallery H - Gridmin - with these settings:

Effects - Edge effects - Enhance.

Effects - Plugins - Filters Unlimited 2.0 - Buttons & Frames - Glass Frame 2 - with these settings:

Selections - Select none.

Save your crea as a jpg file and you're done!
