This tutorial was made in PSP X2, but can also be made in the other versions.

 

For this tutorial you need Animation Shop (AS)

and the following plugins:

Greg's Factory Output Vol. II - Pool Shadow

MuRa's Meister - Cloud

You can download the plugins

Place or install the plugins in your Plugin folder.

 

you can download the materials.

It contains: 4 tubes - 4 patterns - 1 font.

Place the patterns in your Pattern folder.

Open the font and minimize it.

Step 1

Open the tubes in PSP - minimize them for now.

Set your foreground color to #30210e (or at your choice).

Set your background color to #191d44 (or at your choice).

Write done the H and S of your foreground- or background color.

Open a transparent image of 700 x 500 pixels.

Effects - Plugins - MuRa's Meister - Cloud - with these settings:

Step 2

Copy tube 'TRmist1305'.

Paste as a new layer on your working image.

Lower the Opacity of this layer to 56.

Step 3

Copy tube 'OTF_fotomg_permission_palast2'.

Paste as a new layer on your working image.

Move it a little to the right and a little up - see main image.

Set the Blend mode of this layer to Soft light.

Step 4

Open tube 'Graça_Macêdo_BR_2831'.

Image - Resize - Height 500 pixels.

Edit - Copy.

Paste as a new layer on your working image.

Place her on the left side - see main image.

Effects - 3D effects - Drop shadow - at your choice.

Step 5

Open tube 'Graça_Macêdo_BR_2831'.

Image - Resize - Height 500 pixels.

Edit - Copy.

Paste as a new layer on your working image.

Place her in the lower right corner.

Effects - 3D effects - Drop shadow - at your choice.

Set the Blend mode of this layer to Soft light.

Step 6

Image - Add borders - Symmetric - 1 pixel - foreground color.

Image - Add borders - Symmetric - 10 pixels - color white.

Select this border with your Magic wand - with these settings:

Set your foreground to pattern 'goldpattern-ca' - with these settings:

Flood fill the selection with this gold pattern.

Effects - Plugins - Greg's Factory Output Vol. II - Pool Shadow - default settings.

Selections - Select none.

Step 7

Image - Add borders - Symmetric - 30 pixels - foreground color.

Select this border with your Magic wand.

Effects - Plugins - Greg's Factory Output Vol. II - Pool Shadow - default settings.

Selections - Invert.

Effects - 3D effects - Drop shadow:

Vert and Hor 3 - Opacity 100 - Blur 40 - color black.

Selections - Select none.

Step 8

Layers - New raster layer.

Add your name and/or watermark.

Layers - Merge - Merge all (Flatten).

Step 9

Activate your Text tool - font LATINWD (in PSP 'Wide Latin') - Size 20 - with these settings:

Type your text and place it on top of your crea, a little to the right.

Layers - Convert to raster layer.

Step 10

Selections - Select all.

Selections - Float - Selections - Defloat.

Set your foreground to pattern '00 (54) 1' - Angle 0 - Scale 100.

Flood fill the selection with this pattern.

Selections - Select none.

Edit - Copy special - Copy merged.

To AS: Edit - Paste - As a new animation.

Step 11

Back to PSP.

Click Undo 2x.

Set your foreground to pattern '00 (54) 2' - Angle 0 - Scale 100.

Flood fill the selection with this pattern.

Selections - Select none.

Edit - Copy special - Copy merged.

To AS: Edit - Paste - After current frame.

Step 12

Back to PSP.

Click Undo 2x.

Set your foreground to pattern '00 (54) 3' - Angle 0 - Scale 100.

Flood fill the selection with this pattern.

Selections - Select none.

Edit - Copy special - Copy merged.

To AS: Edit - Paste - After current frame.

Edit - Select all.

Step 13

View - Animation.

You now can see how your animation looks.

If you are satisfied:

Save your crea as a gif file and you're done!

If you got a screen, click 3x Next - click 1x Finish.

Name it and save it.
