This tutorial was made in PSP X2, but can also be made in the other versions.

For this lesson you need Animation Shop (AS)

and the following plugin:

Eye Candy 3.1 - Fire

You can download the plugin

you can download the materials.

It contains: 5 tubes - 1 mask.

Place the mask in your mask folder.

The mask is by Jill - place it in your mask folder.

The tubes are by Gina, Heidis and HSK.

Thank you so much for the beautiful tubes and mask.

The other tubes are unknown to me.

Step 1

Open the tubes in PSP - minimize them for now.

Set your foreground to a light color.

Set your background to a dark color.

Open a transparent image of 650 x 550 pixels.

Flood fill your image with your background color.

Step 2

Layers - New raster layer.

Flood fill this layer with your foreground color.

Layers - Load/save mask - Load mask from disk - load mask 'Jillmask_pan' - with these settings:

Layers - Merge - Merge group.

Step 3

Copy tube 'dark hsk 2011-5 (2)'.

Paste as a new layer on your working image.

Place it totaly to the left - see main image.

Layers - Duplicate.

Layers - Merge - Merge down.

Layers - Duplicate - Image - Mirror.

Place this one up, so you can only see the branch - see main image.

Step 4

Copy tube 'Gina tubes Femme 1895'.

Paste as a new layer on your working image.

Place it at the top of your image - see main image.

Set the Blend mode of this layer to Multiply.

Step 5

Copy tube 'dark hsk 2011-48'.

Paste as a new layer on your working image.

Place him on the right side - see main image.

Effects - 3D effects - Drop shadow:

Vert and Hor 2 - Opacity 65 - Blur 3 - black.

Step 6

Copy tube 'dark hsk 2011-1'.

Paste as a new layer on your working image.

Place it in the middle - see main image.

Step 7

Copy tube 'dark hsk 2011-51'.

Paste as a new layer on your working image.

Place her for the cross - see main image.

Effects - 3D effects - Drop shadow - same settings as before.

Step 8

Layers - New raster layer.

Add your name and/or watermark.

Layers - Merge - Merge all (Flatten).

Step 9

Activate your Freehand selection - Point to point - with these settings:

Draw a selection around the flames (above the woman) - see image below:

Effects - Plugins - Eye Candy 3.1 - Fire - with these settings:

Click OK.

Selections - Select none.

Edit - Copy.

To AS: Edit - Paste - As a new animation.

Step 10

Back to PSP.

Click 2x Undo, so you only have the selection.

Effects - Plugins - Eye Candy 3.1 - Fire - set Random Seed to 20.

Click OK.

Selections - Select none.

Edit - Copy.

To AS: Edit - Paste - After current frame.

Step 11

Back to PSP.

Click 2x Undo, so you only have the selection.

Effects - Plugins - Eye Candy 3.1 - Fire - set Random Seed to 30.

Click OK.

Selections - Select none.

Edit - Copy.

To AS: Edit - Paste - After current frame.

Step 12

Animation - Frame properties - 30.

Step 13

Animation - Resize animation - Width 650 pixels.

Step 14

View - Animation.

You now can see how your animation looks.

Click View - Animation again to end the animation.

If you are satisfied:

Save your crea as a gif file and you're done.

If you got a screen, click 4x Next - click 1x Finish.
