This tutorial was made in PSP X2, but can also be made in the other versions.

For this tutorial you need the following plugins:

Emboss_3 (place in your Preset folder)

Place the plugins in your Plugin folder.

If you have to install plugins, you have to restart your PSP, so they work immediately.

It contains: 3 tubes - 1 color label - 2 masks - 1 font

and the plugins Emboss_3 and Esquisse.

Open the font and minimize it, or load fonts by Tool of font FXplorer and it's in your font in PSP.

Permission to use the tubes

The tubes are by Alies and PSP Devils.

The masks are by Narah and Sigrid.

The other tubes are unknown to me.

Step 1

Open the materials in PSP - minimize them for now.

Set your foreground color to #f8e2cb (or at your choice).

Set your background color to #684e59 (or at your choice).

Open a transparent image of 1000 x 650 pixels.

Flood fill your image with your background color.

Effects - Plugins - L en K Landsiteofwonders - L en K's Paris - default settings - see image below:

Layers - Duplicate - Image - Mirror.

Layers - Merge - Merge all (Flatten).

Effects - Custom plugin - Emboss_3 - with these settings:

Step 2

Copy tube 'Flores Para Papa Marazul'.

Paste as a new layer on your working image.

Adust - Brightness and contrast - Highlights/midtones/shadows - with these settings:

Layers - Merge - Merge all (Flatten).

Step 3

Layers - New mask layer - From image - find mask 'maske233_sigrid' - with these settings:

Layers - Merge - Merge all (Flatten).

Step 4

Layers - New raster layer.

Activate your Selection tool - Rectangle.

Custom selection - with these settings:

Effects - 3D effects - Cutout - color black - with these settings:

Step 5

Copy tube 'Alies 435-man-07032011'.

Back to your working image - Paste into the selection.

Selections - Select none.

Layers - Duplicate - Image - Mirror.

Layers - Merge - Merge all (Flatten).

Effects - Plugins - MV's Plugins - PanoWarp - with these settings:

Step 6

Copy tube 'Element_PaperKite'.

Paste as a new layer on your working image.

Place it in the hand of the girl - see main image.

Activate your Freehand selection - Point to point.

Select that part of the rope, so it seems if the girl is holding the kite.

Step 7

Layers - New raster layer.

Activate your Text tool - font 13_Misa - Size 50 - with these settings:

Close your foreground color.

Set your background color to #f8e2cb.

Type 'Daddy' or your own text.

Layers - Convert to raster layer.

Effects - Reflection effects - Feedback - with these settings:

Layers - Duplicate.

Layers - Merge - Merge down.

Effects - 3D effects - Drop shadow:

Vert and Hor 0 - Opacity 50 - Blur 10 - color black.

Rotate the text as you like.

Step 8

Layers - New raster layer.

Flood fill this layer with your background color.

Layers - New mask layer - From image - find mask 'Narah_mask_0365' - with these settings:

Layers - Merge - Merge group.

Effects - Plugins - Esquisse - Bas-relief - with these settings:

Step 9

Layers - New raster layer.

Add your name and/or watermark.

Layers - Merge - Merge all (Flatten).

Step 10

Image - Add borders - Symmetric - 7 pixels - color white.

Image - Add borders - Symmetric - 10 pixels - background color.

Image - Add borders - Symmetric - 25 pixels - color white.

Save your crea as a jpg file and you're done!
