Perfect Moments

This tutorial was made in PSP X2, but can also be made in the other versions.

 

For this lesson you need the following plugins:

Alien Skin Eye Candy 5: Impact - Glass

&<Bkg Designer sf10III> - SW Hollow Dot

(import into Filters Unlimited 2.0)

Filters Unlimited 2.0

Custom plugin - Emboss 3 (is in PSP)

You can download the plugins

Place or install the plugins in your Plugin folder.

If you have to install plugins, you have to restart your PSP, so they work immediately.

 

you can download the materials.

It contains: 2 tubes - 2 brushes - 1 gradient - 1 mask.

Export the brushes by Custom brushes to your brush folder.

Place the gradient in your gradient folder.

 

The mask is by Adita Creations.

The tubes are by Drevers and MMDesignz.

The other tubes are unknown to me.

If they are yours, please let me know so I can give you the proper credits.

Step 1

Open the tubes and the mask in PSP - minimize them for now.

Set your foreground color to #e0d5c0 (or at your choice).

Set your background color to #40311c (or at your choice).

Open a transparent image of 1000 x 750 pixels.

Set your foreground to gradient - Corel_06_04 - with these settings:

Flood fill your image with this gradient.

Layers - Duplicate - Image - Flip.

Lower the Opacity of this layer to 50.

Layers - Merge - Merge down.

Step 2

Effects - Custom plugin - Emboss_3 - default settings.

Effects - Plugins - Filters Unlimited 2.0 - &<Bkg Designer sf10III> - SW Hollow Dot - with these settings:

Effects - Distortion effects - Warp - with these settings:

Step 3

Layers - New raster layer.

Flood fill this layer with your background color.

Layers - New mask layer - From image - find mask 'aditascreations_mask_07' - with these settings:

Layers - Merge - Merge group.

Effects - 3D effects - Drop shadow:

Vert 0 - Hor 20 - Opacity 60 - Blur 40 - color black.

Step 4

Activate your Freehand selection - Point to point.

Draw a selection on the arrow - see image below:

Layers - New raster layer.

Flood fill this layer with your gradient.

Change the Blend mode of this layer to Multiply.

Selections - Select none.

Step 5

Copy tube 'Drevers_misted_woman_8a'.

Paste as a new layer on your working image.

Place her on the right side - see main image.

Lower the Opacity of this layer for now to 70.

Activate your Freehand selection - Point to point.

Select a part of the point of the arrow - see image below:

Press Delete.

There are still little parts that have to be removed.

Do that in the same way.

Make sure you're on the right layer.

Set the Opacity back to 100.

Selections - Select none.

Step 6

Layers - New raster layer.

Activate your Brush tool - find brush 'Yoka-OffWhiteBrush-Swirl - with these settings:

Stamp 1x right below with your foreground color - see main image.

Layers - Duplicate - Image - Flip.

Put it on a nice place.

Layers - Merge - Merge down.

Step 7

Copy tube 'MMDesignz_318_221009'.

Paste as a new layer on your working image.

Image - Resize - 90% - All layers not checked.

Place her on the left side.

Effects - 3D effects - Drop shadow - same settings as before.

Step 8

Layers - New raster layer.

>Activate your Brush tool - find brush 'Perfect Moment's' - with these settings:

Stamp 2x with color #e1e1df, above in the middle.

Step 9

Activate layer 1 (background layer).

Effects - Plugins - Alien Skin Eye Candy 5: Impact - Glass - Settings to Clear - click OK.

Step 10

Layers - New raster layer.

Add your name and/or watermark.

Layers - Merge - Merge all (Flatten).

Step 11

Image - Add borders - Symmetric - 1 pixel - background color.

Image - Resize - Width 600 pixels - All layers checked.

Save your crea as a jpg file and you're done!
