This tutorial was made in PSP X2, but can also be made in the other versions.
For this lesson you need Animation Shop (AS)
and the following plugins:
Greg's Factory Output Vol. II - Pool Shadow
Vizros - Book (you have to install this plugin)
You can download the plugins
Place or install the plugins in your Plugin folder.
If you have to install plugins, you have to restart your
PSP, so they work immediately.

It contains: 6 tubes - 1 picture - 1 animation.
The tubes are by JHanna, Kara2601, Manon (MTM) and Mario C.
The other tubes are unknown to me.

Step 1
Open the tubes and the picture in PSP - minimize them for now.
Set your foreground color to #d9e1d5 (or at your choice).
Set your background color to #2d312a (or at your choice).
Open a transparent image of 650 x 550 pixels.
Selections - Select all.
Copy picture 'JHanna_144 bground'.
Paste into the selection.
Selections - Select none.
Step 2
Open tube 'mc1029'.
Image - Resize - Height 450 pixels.
Edit - Copy.
Paste as a new layer on your working image.
Place her upper right - see main image.
Effects - 3D effects - Drop shadow:
Vert and Hor 2 - Opacity 65 - Blur 2 - background color.
Step 3
Open tube 'kTs~lk3020'.
Image - Resize - Height 400 pixels.
Edit - Copy.
Paste as a new layer on your working image.
Image - Resize - 70% - All layers not checked.
Place it a little to the left - see main image.
If you like an other color for your Christmas ball, use:
Adjust - Hue and saturation - Colorize.
Effects - 3D effects - Drop shadow:
Vert and Hor 1 - Opacity 65 - Blur 1 - black.
Step 4
Copy tube 'Mtm_Birds 16-Ready for the hunt snowy-24 Sept 2005'.
Paste as a new layer on your working image.
Image - Resize - 80% - All layers not checked.
Place him in the lower left corner - see main image.
Effects - 3D effects - Drop shadow:
Vert and Hor 2 - Opacity 65 - Blur 2 - black.
Step 5
Copy tube 'KaraT3610'.
Paste as a new layer on your working image.
Image - Resize - 80% - All layers not checked.
Move it down and in the middle - see main image.
Layers - Arrange - Move down.
Layers - Merge - Merge all (Flatten).
Click Shift+D to duplicate this image and minimize it.
Step 6
Activate your main working image.
Layers - Promote background to layer.
Effects - Plugins - Vizros - click on Register and fill in the code.
Effects - Plugins - Vizros - Book - with these settings:
Activate your Magic wand - Outside checked - with these settings:
Click 1x in the white area.
Press Delete.
Selections - Select none.
Edit - Copy - Paste as a new image.
Step 7
Image - Resize - Width 300 pixels - All layers checked.
Click with your Magic wand in the darker area on the left
side of the book.
Flood fill it with white and add your name there or flood
fill it with a nice pattern, like I did.
Edit - Copy.
Step 8
Activate your minimized image.
Paste as a new layer on your working image.
Image - Rotate - Free rotate - Left - 10 - nothing checked.
Move it down and in the middle - see main image.
Effects - 3D effects - Drop shadow - same settings as before.
Step 9
Open tube 'Kerstklok'.
Image - Resize - Height 160 pixels.
Edit - Copy.
Paste as a new layer on your working image.
Put it right below - see main image.
Effects - 3D effects - Drop shadow - same settings as before.
Step 10
Open tube 'Text_MerryChristmas'.
Image - Resize - Width 200 pixels.
Edit - Copy.
Paste as a new layer on your working image.
Put it on a nice place.
Effects - 3D effects - Drop shadow:
Vert and Hor 1 - Opacity 100 - Blur 1 - black.
Step 11
Layers - New raster layer.
Add your name and/or watermark.
Layers - Merge - Merge all (Flatten).
Step 12
Image - Add borders - Symmetric - 2 pixels - white.
Image - Add borders - Symmetric - 20 pixels - background color.
Select this border with your Magic wand.
Effects - Plugins - Greg's Factory Output Vol. II - Pool Shadow - default
settings.
Step 13
Selections - Invert.
Effects - 3D effects - Drop shadow:
Vert and Hor 5 - Opacity 65 - Blur 10 - white.
Repeat with Vert and Hor to minus 5.
Selections - Select none.
Edit - Copy.
Open Animation Shop (AS).
Edit - Paste - As a new animation.
Step 14
Click Ctrl+C - click now 5x Ctrl+L.
You now have 6 frames.
Click in frame 1 - Edit - Select all.
Step 15
Open animation 'Animatie-b-24ster' in AS.
Click in frame 1 - Edit - Select all - Edit - Copy.
Step 16
Activate your main animation.
Edit - Paste - In selected frame.
Place the star in the Christmas ball.
Place as much as you like, just repeat:
Edit - Paste - In selected frame.
Animation - Frame properties - 25.
Step 17
View - Animation.
You now can see how your animation looks.
If you are satisfied:
You can resize your crea if you want: Animation - Resize animation - Width 500 pixels.
Save your crea as a gif file and you're done!
If you got a screen, click 4x Next - click 1x Finish.
