This tutorial was made in PSP X2, but can also be made in the other versions.

For this lesson you need the following plugins:

Distortion Filters (Import this plugin in Filters Unlimited 2.0) - Splash.

FM Tile Tools - Blend Emboss

Greg's Factory Output Vol. II - Pool Shadow

Place or install the plugins in your Plugin folder.

If you have to install plugins, you have to restart your PSP, so they work immediately.

It contains: 11 tubes - 1 mask.

Place the mask in your mask folder.

The tubes are by CherSwitz, Gerry, Gina and Pascale.

The other tubes are unknown to me.

Step 1

Open the tubes in PSP - minimize them for now.

Set your foreground color to #ffffff (or at your choice).

Set your background color to #82070c (or at your choice).

Open a transparent image of 800 x 600 pixels.

Flood fill your image with your background color.

Step 2

Layers - New raster layer.

Set your foreground to gradient 'Foreground-background' - Radial - Angle 45 - Repeats 3 - Invert checked - Hor and Vert to 50.

Flood fill your layer with this gradient.

Layers - Load/save mask - Load mask from disk - load mask '96MaskkelsWWA' - with these settings:

Layers - Merge - Merge all (Flatten).

Effects - Plugins - FM Tile Tools - Blend Emboss - default settings.

Effects - Edge effects - Enhance.

Step 3

Copy tube 'pincel'.

Paste as a new layer on your working image.

Effects - Edge effects - Enhance.

Layers - Merge - Merge all (Flatten).

Step 4

Layers - Duplicate.

Image - Resize - 75% - All layers not checked.

Effects - Plugins - Filters Unlimited 2.0 - Distortion Filters - Splash - 214 - nothing checked.

Effects - Edge effects - Enhance.

Effects - 3D effects - Drop shadow:

Vert and Hor 1 - Opacity 65 - Blur 40 - color white.

Minimize this image for now.

Step 5

Open the tube you want to use - remove the watermark layer.

Image - Picture frame - find 'cirkels 01' - with these settings:

Layers - Merge - Merge visible.

Minimize this image.

Step 6

Copy tube 'CherSwitz~ClearOrnament'.

Paste as a new layer on your first working image.

Activate your Magic wand - Outside checked - with these settings:

Click with your Magic wand in the middle of the ball.

Step 7

Selections - Modify - Expand - 2 pixels.

Layers - New raster layer.

Activate your picture frame image.

Edit - Copy.

Paste - Into the selection.

Layers - Arrange - Move down.

Selections - Select none.

Layers - Merge - Merge down.

Image - Resize - 110% - All layers not checked.

Place it on the right side.

Step 8

Open tube 'strik'.

Image - Resize - Width 180 pixels.

Edit - Copy.

Paste as a new layer on your working image.

Place the bow on top of the Christmas ball.

Layers - Merge - Merge down.

Place it on the right side.

Effects - 3D effects - Drop shadow - same settings as before.

Step 9

Open tube 'Gerry-kerst 53 - women - 1 december 2008'.

Image - Resize - Height 540 pixels.

Edit - Copy.

Paste as a new layer on your working image.

Place her on the left side.

Effects - 3D effects - Drop shadow:

Vert and Hor 1 - Opacity 65 - Blur 40 - background color.

Step 10

Open tube 'WORDART'.

Image - Resize - Width 350 pixels.

Edit - Copy.

Paste as a new layer on your working image.

Put it on a nice place or see main image.

Effects - 3D effects - Drop shadow:

Vert and Hor 1 - Opacity 65 - Blur 1 - color black.

Step 11

Copy tube 'elements (1)'.

Paste as a new layer on your working image.

Move it to the right - see main image.

Step 12

Layers - New raster layer.

Add your name and/or watermark.

Layers - Merge - Merge all (Flatten).

Step 13

Image - Add borders - Symmetric - 2 pixels - foreground color.

Image - Add borders - Symmetric - 2 pixels - background color.

Image - Add borders - Symmetric - 2 pixels - foreground color.

Step 14

Image - Add borders - Symmetric - 30 pixels - background color.

Select this border with your Magic wand.

Effects - Plugins - Greg's Factory Output Vol. II - Pool Shadow - with these settings:

Step 15

Effects - Art media effects - Brush strokes - with these settings:

Effects - Edge effects - Enhance.

Selections - Invert.

Effects - 3D effects - Drop shadow:

Vert and Hor 1 - Opacity 100 - Blur 10 - color black.

Repeat with Vert and Hor to minus 1.

Selections - Select none.

Step 16

Image - Add borders - Symmetric - 1 pixel - background color.

Image - Resize - Width 800 pixels - All layers checked.

Adjust - Brightness and Contrast - Brightness - 2.

Save your crea as a jpg file and you're done!
