Lower the Opacity of this layer to 75%.

Set the Blend mode of this layer to Luminance (L).

Activate your Eraser - Size 90 - Opacity 10 - Hardness 35.

Erase a little of the waves, so it seams that he is surfing on the big wave.

 

** Step 6 **

Copy tube 'surfing-boy'.

Paste as a new layer on your working image.

Image - Mirror.

Image - Resize - 2x 80% - All layers not checked.

Lower the Opacity of this layer to 80%.

Set the Blend mode of this layer Luminance (L).

 

** Step 7 **

Activate the 'pier'layer.

Copy tube 'surfing-baby'.

Paste as a new layer on your working image.

Set the Blend mode of this layer Luminance (L).

Effects - Plugins - Andromeda - Shadow.

Select the preset as shown below.

After that, you can replace the shadow to your own taste (with the blocks).

Selections - Select all.

Selections - Modify - Contract - 30 pixels.

Selections - Invert.

Activate Raster 3 - press delete.
