Vert and Hor -5 (minus 5) - Opacity 50 - Blur 10 - color black.


** Step 2 **

Activate your Freehand selection - Point to point - Feather 6.

Select the lights of the car - see image below:

The selected parts look bigger to you by the feather, but that's the idea!

Adjust - Hue and saturation - 43 - 255.

Effects - Illumination effects - Lights.

Click by Light source on number 3 - remove the checkmark from ON!

Do the same by number 4 and 5.

Click on Light source number 1 - with these settings:

Click on Light source number 2 - with these settings:

Selections - Select none.


** Step 3 **

Open tube 'city'.

Activate your Selection tool - Rectangle - Feather 20.

Select a rectangle on the right side - see image below:

Edit - Copy.

Layers - New raster layer.

Paste into the selection.

Selections - Select none.

Image - Mirror.

Layers - Merge - Merge down.

Edit - Copy.


** Step 4 **

Back to your working image.

Layers - New raster layer.

Flood fill this layer with color #c1af99.

Layers - Arrange - Move down.

Click on your Selection tool - Custom selection - with these settings:

Layers - New raster layer.

Paste into the selection (the city picture is still in memory).

Selections - Select none.

Lower the Opacity of this layer to 80.

Layers - Merge - Merge down.


** Step 5 **

Activate your top layer.

Layers - New raster layer.

Selections - Select all.

Selections - Modify - Contract - 15 pixels.

Selections - Invert.

Set your foreground color to #67708d.

Set your background color to #bcc5d4.

Set your foreground to gradient 'Foreground-background' - Linear - Angle 25 - Repeats 5 - Invert not checked.

Flood fill the selection with this gradient.

Effects - 3D effects - Inner bevel - preset 'Flat edge' - or with these settings (you can save it as Flat edge):

Selections - Select none.


** Step 6 **

Copy tube 'DD(SW)Man03'.

Paste as a new layer on your working image.

Place him on the right side - see main image.

Effects - 3D effects - Drop shadow:

Vert and Hor -5 (minus 5) - Opacity 50 - Blur 10 - color black.


** Step 7 **

Open font 'DeVinneOrn' - minimize.

Activate your Text tool - font DeVinneOrn - Size 36 - Stroke width 1 - as Vector.

Type: Hitchhiker.

Layers - Convert to raster layer.

Layers - Duplicate - activate the layer beneath.

Effects - Distortion effects - Wind - Right - 100.

Effects - Distortion effects - Wind - Left - 100.

Activate the top layer.

Layers - Merge - Merge down.

Image - Rotate - Free rotate - Left - 20 - nothing checked.

Place the text between the lines on the road.

Layers - Arrange - Move down - repeat 1x.

The text is now under the frame layer.


** Step 8 **

Activate the bottom layer (the city layer).

Edit - Copy.

Open Animation Shop (AS).

Edit - Paste - As a new animation.

Paste again by clicking Ctrl+L.

If you did it right, the first frame is now selected (if not, click in the first frame to select it).

Effects - Insert image transition - Wipe - with these settings:

Click on Customize - with these settings:

Click in the last frame - press Delete.

Click in the first frame - press Delete.

You now have 8 frames left.

Click in frame 1 - Edit - Select all (Ctrl+A).


** Step 9 **

Back to PSP.

Close the bottom layer.

Activate one of the other layers.

Layers - Merge - Merge visible.

Edit - Copy.

To AS: Paste - As a new animation.

Click 1x Ctrl+C - click now 7x Ctrl+L.

You now have 8 frames.

Click in frame 1 - Edit - Select all (Ctrl+A) - Edit Copy (Ctrl+C).

Activate the city animation.

Edit - Paste - In selected frame (Ctrl+E).

Take care that the frame fits nicely before you release the mouse button.


** Step 10 **

View - Animation.

You now can see how your animation looks.

Resize if you want to and save your crea as a gif file.

Use Optimalisation - with these settings (otherwise your crea will be much to big):
