Open a transparent image of 600 x 500 pixels.

Selections - Select all.

Copy tube 'SeaUmeer'.

Paste into the selection.

Selections - Select none.

 

** Step 2 **

Copy tube 'Daemmerung'.

Paste as a new layer on your working image.

Image - Mirror.

Place it in the upper left corner.

 

** Step 3 **

Copy tube 'sunset'.

Paste as a new layer on your working image.

Image - Mirror.

Place it upper right

Make sure the Horizon of both images coincide nicely.

Layers - Merge - Merge down.

Lower the Opacity of this layer to 90.

Set the Blend mode of this layer to Luminance (L).

 

** Step 4 **

Copy tube 'wildsea'.

Paste as a new layer on your working image.

Place it a bit down and to the right.

The top can just touch the other picture, so you can still see the waves.

Layers - Arrange - Move down.

Now this layer is under the merged layer of the air.

Lower the Opacity of this layer to 80.

Set the Blend mode of this layer to Luminance (L).

 

** Step 5 **

Activate your top layer.

Copy tube 'sea'.

Paste as a new layer on your working image.

Place the sea left below.

Activate your Eraser - Size 60 - Hardness 50 - Opacity 7.

Erase a little from above the waves, so you can see the waves of picture 'sea' clear.

Set the Blend mode of this layer to Luminance (L).

Layers - Duplicate - Image - Mirror.

Place these two pictures nicely against each other, as if itís one picture - see main image.

 

** Step 6 **

Copy tube 'indianwoman'.

Paste as a new layer on your working image.

Place her in the middle of your picture and a bit down.

Set the Blend mode to Luminance (L).

You can see brown on some places, you have to remove that.

Activate your Eraser - Size 60 - Hardness 50 - Opacity 7.

Erase a little from the fringes of the woman, so the stripes fade a little.

Layers - Merge - Merge visible.

 

** Step 7 **

Copy this layer.

Paste as a new image - minimize the original one for now.

You are working with the copy.

Layers - New raster layer.

Selections - Select all.

Selections - Modify - contract - 40 pixels.

Selections - Invert.

Flood fill the selection with color #d6dode.

 

** Step 8 **

Layers - New raster layer.

Selections - Select all.

Selections - Modify - Contract - 35 pixels.

Selections - Invert.

Set your foreground color to #9fa7d5.

Set your background color to #283168.

Set your foreground to gradient 'Foreground/background' - Linear - Angle 32 - Repeats 5 - Invert checked.

Flood fill the selection with this gradient.

Layers - Merge - Merge down.

 

** Step 9 **

Selections - Select all.

Selections - Modify - Contract - 40 pixels.

Selections - Invert.

Effects - Plugins - BorderMania - Frame #2 - with these settings:

Effects - 3D effects - drop shadow:

Vert and Hor 3 - Opacity 50 - Blur 20 - color black.

Repeat with Vert and Hor to -3 (minus 3).

Selections - select none.

Layers - Merge - Merge all (Flatten).

 

** Step 10 **

Image - Resize - 80% - All layers checked.

Copy this image.

Maximize your original picture - Click Undo.

Your layers are now visible again, if not, click Undo again.

Activate your top layer (the indian woman).

Press delete.

Layers - Merge - Merge visible.

Paste the picture of the frame as a new layer on your original image (itís still in the memory).

Move it a little up, so there is more space between the frame and the bottom.

Effects - 3D effects - Drop shadow:

Vert and Hor 5 - Opacity 50 - Blur 20 - color black.

Repeat with Vert and Hor to -5 (minus 5).

 

** Step 11 **

Activate your Eraser - same settings as before.

Erase carefully the bottom (the middle of the frame) - see main image.

Itís better to go over it a few times then erase to much in one time.

Erase in the middle so much that the list is lost and left and right far less so the list is still faintly visible.

Close this layer and activate the bottom layer.

 

** Step 12 **

Copy tube 'indiaan5psp'.

Paste as a new layer on your working image.

Place him upper right, a little outside the image, so you only see some of the wigwams.

Layers - Duplicate - Image - Mirror.

Layers - Merge - Merge down.

Lower the Opacity of this layer to 85.

 

** Step 13 **

Activate and open the frame layer.

opy tube 'winters59'.

Paste as a new layer on your working image.

Image - Resize - 2x 80% - All layers not checked.

Set the Blend mode of this layer to Luminance (L).

Place it on the right side - see main image.

Effects - Plugins - Xero - Porcelain - default settings.

Effects - 3D effects - Drop shadow:

Vert and Hor 3 - Opacity 50 - Blur 20 - color black.

 

** Step 14 **

Copy tube 'dreaming'.

Paste as a new layer on your working image.

Image - Mirror.

Place this tube left below.

Set the Blend mode of this layer to Luminance (L).

Effects - Plugins - Xero - Porcelain - default settings.

Activate your Eraser - same settings as before.

Vage the water under the woman a bit.

Effects - 3D effects - Drop shadow - same settings as before.

Activate the painting layer.

Erase on the left and on the right of the indianwoman a little from the edge of the list that you see through.

Layers - Merge - Merge all (Flatten).

 

** Step 15 **

Selections Ė Select all.

Image - Add borders - 1 pixel - color #d6dode.

Image - Add borders - 2 pixels - color #283168.

Image - Add borders - 1 pixel - color #d6dode.

Image - Add borders - 2 pixels - color #283168.

Image - Add borders - 1 pixel - color #d6dode.

Selections - Invert.

Effects - Plugins - BorderMania - Frame #2 - with these settings:

Selections - Select none.

Add your name and/or watermark.

Resize if you want and save it as a Jpg file and you're done!
