This tutorial was made in PSP X2, but can also be made in the other versions.

 

Here you can download the materials.

It contains: 1 working image with Alpha selections - 5 tubes - 1 texture.

Sabine and Hanne, thank you so much for your beautiful tubes.

 

Here you can download the plugins FM Tile Tools and Visman (all VM plugins are included).

If you have placed everything in it's folder, you can start :-)

Settings Flood fill bucket:

 

Step 1

Set your foreground color to #98984b.

Set your background color to #323715.

Open tube "Jana_Arbeitsbild".

Flood fill your image with your background color.

Effects - Texture effects - Texture "Crisscross" - with these settings:

Step 2

Layers - New raster layer.

Selections - Load/save selection - Load selection from Alpha channel - load "Auswahl #1.

Set your foreground to gradient "Foreground- background" - with these settings:

Flood fill the selection with the gradient.

Effects - Texture effects - Blinds - with these settings:

Selections - Modify - Contract - 15 pixels.

Step 3

Layers - New raster layer.

Set your background to color #060603.

Flood fill your image with your gradient, Invert not checked.

Selections - Modify - Contract - 5 pixels.

Flood fill your image with your gradient, Invert checked.

Repeat this steps (Selections - Contract - 5 pixels and gradient Invert checked) 8x, so it looks like image shown below:

Lower the Opacity of this layer to 34.

Change the Blend mode of this layer to Hard light.

Step 4

Layers - New raster layer.

Set your background color back to #323715.

Set your gradient to the following settings:

Flood fill your image with this gradient.

Effects - Texture effects - Blinds - same settings as before.

Selections - Select none.

Duplicate the layer with the many fillings.

Effects - Distortion effects - Twirl - 720.

Step 5

Activate your top layer.

Copy tube "avril10_grsabine".

Paste as a new layer on your working image.

Lower the Opacity of this layer to 78.

Change the Blend mode of this layer to Luminance.

Effects - Plugins - FM Tile Tools - Blend Emboss - default settings.

Step 6

Layers - New raster layer.

Selections - Load/save selection - Load selection from Alpha channel - load "Auswahl #2.

Flood fill the selection with black.

Selections - Modify - Contract - 1 pixels.

Set your gradient to the following settings:

Flood fill the selection with this gradient.

Selections - Modify - Contract - 5 pixels.

Press Delete.

Step 7

Layers - New raster layer.

Set your gradient to the following settings:

Flood fill your layer with this gradient.

Effects - Texture effects - Blinds - with these settings, but now Horizontal not checked.

Selections - Select none.

Lower the Opacity of this layer to 50%.

Layers - Merge - Merge down.

Effects - Distortion effects - Twirl - 450.

Step 8

Copy tube "Hanne-Girl23-Juni-2008".

Paste as a new layer on your working image.

Image - Mirror.

Image - Resize - 90% - All layers not checked.

Place her on the left side.

Adjust - Sharpness - Unsharp mask - with these settings:

Effects - 3D Effects - Drop shadow - with these settings:

Step 9

Layers - New raster layer.

Selections - Load/save selection - Load selection from Alpha channel - load "Auswahl #3.

Flood fill the selection with your gradient.

Effects - Texture effects - Blinds: 2 - 50 - Horizontaal not checked.

Effects - 3D Effects - Drop shadow - with these settings:

Selections - Select none.

Step 10

Layers - New raster layer.

Selections - Load/save selection - Load selection from Alpha channel - load "Auswahl #4.

Flood fill the selection with your gradient from step 6.

Selections - Modify - Contract - 3 pixels.

Flood fill the selection with your gradient from step 7.

Step 11

Layers - New raster layer.

Copy tube "Hanne-Girl23-klein".

Paste into the selection.

Lower the Opacity of this layer to 50%.

Selections - Select none.

Layers - Merge - Merge down.

Adjust - Sharpness - Unsharp mask - same settings as before.

Effects - 3D Effects - Drop shadow - same settings as before.

Step 12

Layers - Duplicate.

Move it a bit up.

Image - Rotate - Free rotate - with these settings:

Duplicate the small middle image 1x.

Image - Rotate - Free rotate - Left - 20 - nothing checked.

Move this down - see image below:

Step 13

Copy tube "Jana_Text".

Paste as a new layer on your working image.

Effects - 3D Effects - Drop shadow - Foreground color - with these settings:

Place both parts of the text as you like.

Step 14

Layers - New raster layer.

Selections - Select all.

Flood fill the selection with black.

Selections - Modify - Contract - 1 pixel.

Set your gradient to the following settings:

Flood fill the selection with this gradient.

Effects - Plugins - VM Toolbox - Blast - 50.

Selections - Modify - Contract - 15 pixels.

Flood fill with black.

Selections - Modify - Contract - 1 pixel.

Press Delete.

Selections - Select none.

Step 15

Layers - Duplicate - Image - Mirror.

Lower the Opacity of this layer to 50%.

Activate your Magic wand - with these settings:

Click in the middle of tube "Rhamen".

Effects - 3D Effects - Cutout - with these settings:

Selections - Select none.

Step 16

Copy tube "Jana_Rahmen".

Paste as a new layer on your working image.

Lower the Opacity of this layer to 50.

Change the Blend mode of this layer to Hard light.

Step 17

Add your name and/or watermark.

Save your crea as a jpg file and you're done!
