For this tutorial you need Animation Shop (AS)

and no plugins.

 

you can download the materials.

It contains: 1 color label - 4 tubes - 1 animation - 1 font.

Open FXplorer: click on Tools - Load fonts (by folder).

Go to the folder where your fonts are.

Click on the letter of the font you need.

When it's done, the fonts are in the fonts in PSP.

 

The tubes are by Dean Yeagle, Leny and Saskia.

Step 1

Open the tubes in PSP - minimize them for now.

Set your foreground color to #2e497.

Set your background color to #ecd139.

Set your foreground to gradient 'Linear' - Angle 315 - Repeats 0 - Invert checked.

Open a transparent image of 640 x 480 pixels.

Flood fill your image with your gradient.

Effects - 3D effects - Texture effects - Blinds - color #62571d - with these settings:

Step 2

Open tube 'Leny-templ11'.

Copy the yellow layer.

Paste as a new layer on your working image.

Image - Resize - 75% - All layers not checked.

Place the tube upper left.

Effects - 3D effects - Drop shadow:

Vert and Hor 8 - Opacity 45 - Blur 12.25 - color black.

Step 3

Copy tube 'saskia_misted-pasen022'.

Paste as a new layer on your working image.

Image - Mirror.

Place the tube upper right - see main image.

Layers - Arrange - Move down.

Step 4

Copy tube 'easterbunny088'.

Paste as a new layer on your working image.

Layers - Arrange - Move up.

Place her between the hanging flowers of the template.

Effects - 3D effects - Drop shadow - same settings as before.

Step 5

Copy tube 'eitje'.

Paste as a new layer on your working image.

Place the egg right below - see main image.

Change the Blend mode of this layer to Luminance (L).

Step 6

Activate your Text tool - font BunnyWunny - Size 40 - Stroke width 0.

Set your background color to white (#ffffff).

Type 'Happy'.

Place the text below, next to the woman - see main image.

Set the Size to 55.

Type 'Easter'.

Place this text under the word Happy.

Layers - Merge - Merge down.

Effects - 3D effects - Drop shadow:

Vert and Hor 1 - Opacity 100 - Blur 1 - color black.

Step 7

Layers - New raster layer.

Add your name and/or watermark.

Layers - Merge - Merge all (Flatten).

Image - Resize - 85% - All layers not checked.

Effects - 3D effects - Drop shadow:

Vert and Hor 8 - Opacity 45 - Blur 12.25 - color black.

Repeat with Vert and Hor to minus 8.

Step 8

Set your background color back to #ecd139.

Layers - New raster layer.

Flood fill this layer with your background color.

Layers - Arrange - Move down.

Effects - 3D effects - Inner bevel - Shannon or with these settings:

Edit - Copy.

To AS: Edit - Paste - As a new animation.

Step 9

Click 1x Ctrl+C - click now 8x Ctrl+L.

You now have 9 frames.

Click in frame 1 - Edit - Select all.

Step 10

Open animaton 'Animation2' in AS.

Click in frame 1 - Edit - Select all - Edit - Copy.

Step 11

Back to your main animation.

Edit - Paste - Into selected frame.

Place the animation on the second e of Easter - see main image.

Step 12

Animation - Frame properties - 10.

If you find it to fast, just enter an higher number.

The higher the number the slower the animation.

Step 13

View - Animation.

You now can see how your animation looks.

If you are satisfied, save your crea as a gif file and you're done!
