For this tutorial you need Animation Shop (AS)

and the following plugins:

Alien Skin Eye Candy 5: Textures - Animal Fur

Alien Skin Xenofex 2 - Constellation

Place or install the plugins into your Plugin folder.

you can download the materials.

It contains: 1 color label - 7 tubes - 1 gold pattern.

The tubes are by Dentelle, H@nne, HowardRobinson, June, Leny and Roxyfloxsy.

Step 1

Open the tubes in PSP - minimize them for now.

Set your foreground color to #714a2f.

Set your background to gold pattern 'D_gold fold' - Angle 0 - Scale 100.

Open a transparent image of 750 x 620 pixels.

Flood fill your image with your gradient.

Effects - Plugins - Alien Skin Eye Candy 5: Textures - Animal Fur - set Settings to Brown Rabbit - see image below:

Step 2

Copy tube 'HowardRobinsonLeopardCubBabelicious'.

Paste as a new layer on your working image.

Place hom totaly to the left, through the edge - see main image.

Activate your Eraser.

Erase the 2 leaves to the branche.

Effects - 3D effects - Drop shadow:

Vert and Hor minus 15 - Opacity 50 - Blur 16 - color black.

Step 3

Copy tube 'H@nne Nature2-Sept 2009'.

Paste as a new layer on your working image.

Place the branche on the previous branche with the lions - see main image.

If nessecary erase a little so it fits nicely.

Effects - 3D effects - Drop shadow - same settings as before.

Step 4

Copy tube 'Leny-dier22'.

Paste as a new layer on your working image.

Image - Resize - 75% - All layers not checked.

Place the lion in the upper right corner.

Effects - 3D effects - Drop shadow - same settings as before.

Step 5

Copy tube 'June Series Big Cats 1 - 3'.

Paste as a new layer on your working image.

Place the tube in the lower right corner.

Layers - Arrange - Move down - repeat 2x.

Layers - Merge - Merge all (Flatten).

Step 6

Layers - New raster layer.

Add your name and/or watermark.

Layers - Merge - Merge all (Flatten).

Step 7

Image - Add borders - Symmetric - 2 pixels - color pink.

Select this border with your Magic wand.

Flood fill the selection with your gold pattern.

Selections - Select none.

Layers - Promote background to layer.

Image - Resize - 75% - All layers not checked.

Step 8

Layers - New raster layer.

Effects - Plugins - Alien Skin Eye Candy 5: Texture - Animal Fur - same settings as before.

Layers - Arrange - Move down.

Activate your top layer.

Effects - 3D effects - Drop shadow:

Vert and Hor 15 - Opacity 50 - Blur 16 - color black.

Place the picture upper left - see main image.

Step 9

Activate your Selection tool - Rectangle.

Draw a rectangle on the right side, ca. 1 1/2 box from the edges - see main image.

Layers - New raster layer.

Flood fill this layer with your foreground color.

Selections - Modify - Select selection borders - with these settings:

Flood fill the border with your gold pattern.

Selections - Select none.

Step 10

Copy tube 'Leny-tekst39'.

Paste as a new layer on your working image.

Place the text in the rectangle, as much as possible to the left - see main image.

Effects - 3D effects - Drop shadow:

Vert and Hor 4 - Opacity 100 - Blur 2 - color black.

Step 11

Copy tube 'RF-natuur18'.

Paste as a new layer on your working image.

Place the tube in the lower left corner.

Layers - Duplicate - Image - Mirror.

Place this one nicely against the original, so you have a long rectangle.

Layers - merge - merge down.

Layers - Duplicate.

Layers - merge - merge down.

Layers - Arrange - Move down - repeat 1x.

Layers - Merge - Merge all (Flatten).

Step 12

Image - Add borders - Symmetric - 2 pixels - color pink.

Select this border with your Magic wand.

Flood fill the selection with your gold pattern.

Selections - Select none.

Step 13

Copy tube 'dentelle_204_prettyju'.

Paste as a new layer on your working image.

Place it next to the text - see main image.

If it doesn't fit, activate your Distortion tool and pull it a bit until it fits.

If it is too big, just pull it down.

Adjust - Sharpness - Sharpen.

Layers - Duplicate - repeat 1x.

your now have 4 layers.

Step 14

Close the 2 top layers.

Activate layer 1.

Effects - Plugins - Alien Skin Xenofex 2 - Constellation - set Settings to Glimmer - with these settings:

Close this layer.

Step 15

Open and activate layer 2.

Effects - Plugins - Alien Skin Xenofex 2 - Constellation - set Settings to Glimmer - press Random Seed 1x.

Close this layer.

Step 16

Open and activate layer 3.

Effects - Plugins - Alien Skin Xenofex 2 - Constellation - set Settings to Glimmer - press Random Seed 1x.

Close this layer.

Stap 17

Activate your bottom layer and stay on this layer.

Open layer 1.

Edit - Copy merged.

To AS: Edit - Paste - As a new animation.

Step 18

Back to PSP.

Close layer 1 and open layer 2.

Edit - Copy merged.

To AS: Edit - Paste - After current frame.

Step 19

Back to PSP.

Close layer 2 and open layer 3.

Edit - Copy merged.

To AS: Edit - Paste - After current frame.

Step 20

View - Animation.

You now can see how your animation looks.

Step 21

If you want you can resize your crea to Width 500 pixels.

Save your crea as a gif file and you're done!
