This tutorial was made in PSP 9, but can also be made in the other versions.

 

For this lesson you need Animation Shop (AS)

and the following plugin:

< I.C.NET Software > - Filters Unlimited 2.0 - Paper textures

It contains: 8 tubes.

The other tubes are unknow to me.

Step 1

Set your foreground color to #9ca760.

Set your background color to #5d5d30.

Open a white image of 640 x 335 pixels.

Click on your Selection tool - Rectangle - see image below:

Custom selection - with these settings:

Flood fill the selection with your background color.

Flood fill this image with your gradient.

Step 2

Selections - Modify - Contract - 4 pixels.

Press Delete.

Flood fill the selection with your foreground color.

DON'T DESELECT!

Effects - Plugins - < I.C.NET Software > - Filters Unlimited 2.0 - Paper textures - Canvas Fine - with these settings:

Selections - Select none.

Step 3

Copy tube 'gesp'.

Paste as a new layer on your working image.

Layers - New raster layer.

Click on your Selection tool - Rectangle.

Custom selection - with these settings:

Flood fill the selection with your background color.

Step 4

Selections - Modify - Contract - 4 pixels.

Flood fill the selection with your background color.

Effects - Plugins - < I.C.NET Software > - Filters Unlimited 2.0 - Paper textures - Canvas Fine - same settings as before.

Selections - Select none.

Move the buckle a little to the left.

Step 5

Copy tube 'ring'.

Paste as a new layer on your working image.

Move the ring a little to the right - see main image.

Activate your Selection tool - Circle - see image below:

Draw a little circle in the ring.

Selections - Edit selection - the selection is now red - see image below:

Step 6

Activate layer 1 (the belt).

Activate your Distortion tool.

Move the red selection inside the ring.

Click again: Selection - Edit selection.

Click on your Move tool and the selection is normal again - see image below:

Press Delete.

Now there is a small hole in the ring.

Selections - Select none.

Activate your buckle layer.

Layers - Merge - Merge down.

Your belt and buckle are now merged.

Step 7

Activate layer 4.

Copy tube 'takje-rechts'.

Paste as a new layer on your working image.

Place it on the right side in the square - see main image.

Step 8

Copy tube 'klaproos-gesp'.

Paste as a new layer on your working image.

Place it on the right side in the square - see main image.

Place it in the lower right corner of the buckle.

Layers - Duplicate.

Image - Resize - 90% - All layers not checked.

Place it on the left side - see main image.

Step 9

Copy tube 'takje-links'.

Paste as a new layer on your working image.

Place it left below.

Place them nicely to each other.

Layers - Arrange - Move down.

Step 10

Copy tube 'bijtje'.

Paste as a new layer on your working image.

Place it as you like or see main image.

Copy tube 'klein-bloempje'.

Paste as a new layer on your working image.

Place it as you like or see main image.

Step 11

Layers - New raster layer.

Add your name and/or watermark.

Step 12

Image - Add borders - Symmetric - 1 pixel - background color.

Save your crea as a png file.

If you want to save your crea as a gif file.

Edit - Copy.

To AS: Edit - Paste - As a new animation.

Save your crea as a gif file.

If you got screens, click 3x Next - click 1x Finish.

When you saved your crea, you're done!
