For this lesson you need the following plugin:

dsb flux - Linear Transmission

It contains: 3 tubes - 1 shape.

Place the shape in your Preset Shape folder.

Step 1

Set your foreground color to #a68976.

Set your background color to #cabaa9.

Set your foreground to gradient 'Foreground-background' - Linear - Angle 90 - Repeats 0 - Invert checked.

Open a white image of 500 x 500 pixels.

Flood fill this image with your gradient.

Step 2

Layers - Duplicate.

Image - Resize - 90% - All layers not checked.

Effects - Plugins - dsb flux - Linear Transmission - with these settings:

Activate your Distortion tool or press the letter 'D'.

Pull them out to the top and to the bottom of your crea.

Adjust - Sharpness - Sharpen.

Step 3

Activate your bottom layer.

Layers - Duplicate.

Layers - Arrange - Bring to top.

Image - Flip.

Image - Resize - 90% - All layers not checked.

Click in the middle of this layer with your Magic wand.

Selections - Float - Selections - Defloat.

Selections - Modify - Select selection borders - with these settings:

Flood fill the selection with color #726253.

Effects - 3D effects - Drop shadow:

Vert and Hor 4 - Opacity 38 - Blur 15 - color black.

Effects - 3D effects - Chisel - 2 pixels - Transparent checked.

Step 4

Layers - Duplicate.

Image - Resize - 95% - All layers not checked.

Click on your Selection tool - rectangle.

Custom selection - with these settings:

Layers - New raster layer.

Flood fill this layer with your gradient - Invert not checked.

Effects - Plugins - dsb flux - Linear Transmission - same settings as before.

Adjust - Sharpness - Sharpen.

Selections - Float - Selections - Defloat.

Selections - Modify - Select selection borders - same settings - 1 pixel.

Flood fill the border with your background color.

Selections - Float - Selections - Defloat.

Selections - Modify - Select selection borders - same settings - 2 pixels.

Flood fill the selection with color #726253.

Selections - Select none.

Step 5

Activate your Preset shape - find shape 'Vic 11' (or at your choice).

Draw the branche on the right side - see main image.

Layers - Convert to raster layer.

If you shape is black or any other color you don't want, click on the lock in your layer palette (totaly left).

You now can colorize the shape with your choosen color.

Don't forget to open the lock when you're ready.

Effects - 3D effects - Inner bevel - with these settings:

Effects - 3D effects - Drop shadow:

Vert and Hor 1 - Opacity 100 - Blur 1 - color white.

Adjust - Sharpness - Sharpen.

Step 6

Copy tube 'DavidHickeyJeniFishin-TubedByTYA'.

Paste as a new layer on your working image.

Image - Mirror.

Image - Resize - 43% - All layers not checked.

Adjust - Sharpnes - Unsharp mask: 1 - 64 - 4.

Place her on the left side, in the middle.

Effects - 3D effects - Drop shadow:

Vert -4 (minus 4) - Hor 4 - Opacity 15 - Blur 15 - color black.

Step 7

Layers - New raster layer.

Add your name and/or watermark.

Layers - Merge - Merge all (Flatten).

Image - Add borders - 1 pixel - foreground color.

Save your crea as a jpg file and you're done!
