For this lesson you need Animation Shop (AS)

and the following plugins:

Step 1

Open the tube and e in PSP - minimize them for now.

Set your foreground color to #444357 (or at your choice).

Set your background color to #eeeae8 (or at your choice).

Step 2

Open the picture.

Image - Add borders - Symmetric - 1 pixel - foreground color.

Image - Add borders - Symmetric - 2 pixels - background color.

Image - Add borders - Symmetric - 1 pixel - foreground color.

Selections - Select all.

Selections - Modify - Contract - 4 pixels.

Selections - Invert.

Effects - 3D effects - Inner bevel - with these settings:

Selections - Select none.

Step 3

Image - Add borders - Symmetric - 4 pixels - background color.

Activate your Magic wand - with these settings:

Select the last border with your Magic wand.

Effects - Plugins - Graphics Plus - Cross Shadow - default settings.

Selections - Select none.

Step 4

Open the picture.

Image - Add borders - Symmetric - 1 pixel - foreground color.

Image - Add borders - Symmetric - 2 pixels - background color.

Image - Add borders - Symmetric - 1 pixel - foreground color.

Selections - Select all.

Selections - Modify - Contract - 4 pixels.

Selections - Invert.

Effects - 3D effects - Inner bevel - same settings as before.

Selections - Select none.

Step 5

Image - Add borders - Symmetric - 30 pixels - background color.

Select the last border with your Magic wand.

Effects - Plugins - Graphics Plus - Cross Shadow - default settings.

Layers - Promote selection to layer.

Make sure you are on this layer.

Effects - Image effects - Page curl - with these settings:

Effects - Image effects - Page curl - take now the first picture - see image below:

Effects - 3D effects - Inner bevel - same settings as before.

Repeat this 1x with the same settings.

DON'T DESELECT!

Step 6

Activate your bottom layer.

Adjust - Add/remove noise - Add noise - with these settings:

Selections - Select none.

Step 7

Open the picture.

Image - Add borders - Symmetric - 1 pixel - foreground color.

Image - Add borders - Symmetric - 2 pixels - background color.

Image - Add borders - Symmetric - 1 pixel - foreground color.

Selections - Select all.

Selections - Modify - Contract - 4 pixels.

Selections - Invert.

Effects - 3D effects - Inner bevel - same settings as before.

Selections - Select none.

Step 8

Image - Add borders - Symmetric - 4 pixels - background color.

Activate your Magic wand - with these settings:

Select the last border with your Magic wand.

Effects - Plugins - Graphics Plus - Cross Shadow - default settings.

Selections - Select none.

Minimize this image for now.

Step 9

Open a new transparent image of 800 x 500 pixels.

Set your foreground to gradient 'Foreground-background' - Linear - with these settings:

Flood fill your image with this gradient.

Effects - Plugins - < I.C.NET Software > - Filter Unlimited2 – Tile & Mirror – Kaleidoscope1 - default settings.

Step 10

Layers - New raster layer.

Click on your Selection tool.

Custom selection - with these settings:

Flood fill the selection with your foreground color.

Selections - Modify - Contract - 1 pixel.

Flood fill the selection with your background color.

Selections - Modify - Contract - 2 pixels.

Flood fill the selection with your foreground color.

Selections - Modify - Contract - 1 pixel.

Flood fill the selection with your gradient.

Effects - Plugins - < I.C.NET Software > - Filter Unlimited 2.0 - Tile & Mirror – Kaleidoscope1 - default settings.

Selections - Select none.

Effects - 3D effects - Drop shadow:

Vert and Hor 3 - Opacity 50 - Blur 5 - color black.

Step 11

Copy tube 'Mtm_Strange 136-20 feb 2008'.

Paste as a new layer on your working image.

Image - Resize - 90% - All layers not checked.

Place it in your just made rectangle.

Adjust - Hue and saturation - Colorize: 173 - 33 (or your own H and S numbers).

Effects - 3D effects - Drop shadow:

Vert and Hor 3 - Opacity 50 - Blur 5 - color black.

Activate your square layer.

Layers - Duplicate - Image - Mirror.

Step 12

Activate the flower layer.

Layers - Duplicate - Image - Mirror.

Step 13

Copy your minimized image.

Paste as a new layer on your working image.

Don't move it!

Effects - 3D effects - Drop shadow:

Vert and Hor 3 - Opacity 50 - Blur 5 - color black.

Repeat with Vert and Hor to -3 (minus 3).

Step 14

Open the picture.

Image - Add borders - Symmetric - 1 pixel - foreground color.

Image - Add borders - Symmetric - 2 pixels - background color.

Image - Add borders - Symmetric - 1 pixel - foreground color.

Selections - Select all.

Selections - Modify - Contract - 4 pixels.

Selections - Invert.

Effects - 3D effects - Inner bevel - same settings as before.

Selections - Select none.

Step 15

Add your name and/or watermark.

Layers - Merge - Merge all (Flatten).

Edit - Copy.

Step 16

To As: Edit - Paste - As a new animation.

Click 1x Ctrl+C - click 2x Ctrl+L.

You now have 3 frames.

Click in frame 1 - Edit - Select all.

Step 17

Open tube 'lijnbling1Miriam' in AS.

Click in frame 1 - Edit - Select all - Edit - Copy.

Step 18

Activate your main animation.

Edit - Paste - In selected frame.

Place it between the picture and the left rectangle - see main image.

Step 19

Activate your bling animation.

Animation - Image mirror.

Click in frame 1 - Edit - Select all - Edit - Copy.

Step 20

Activate your main animation.

Edit - Paste - In selected frame.

Place this one on the other side.

Step 21

View - Animation.

You now can see how your animation looks.

If you are satisfied:

Save your crea as a gif file and you're done!
