This tutorial was made in PSP X2, but can also be made in the other versions.

 

Here you can download the materials.

It contains: 3 tubes - 1 gradient - 1 pattern - 1 font.

Open the font and minimize it, or load fonts by Tools of font FXplorer - Click 'Load Fonts (by Folder) - click on the font you want and it's in your font in PSP.

If you have placed everything in it's folder, you can start :-)

 

Step 1

Set your foreground color to #c6d1e0.

Set your background color to #9c9ab5.

Set your foreground to gradient "Foreground- background" - with these settings:

Open a transparent image of 650 x 450 pixels.

Flood fill your image with the gradient.

Step 2

Copy tube "BOUQUET_PART_PATTYSDESIGNS[1]".

Paste as a new layer on your working image.

Effects - Image effects - Seamless tiling - with these settings:

Adjust - Blur - Radial blur - with these settings:

Effects - Image effects - Seamless tiling - same settings as before.

Layers - Merge - Merge visible.

Step 3

Set your foreground to silver pattern "diamonds" - Angle 0 - Scale 100.

Set your background color to #b7c1d2.

Layers - New raster layer.

Click on your Selection tool - Rectangle.

Custom selection:>

with these settings:

Flood fill the selection with your silver pattern.

Selections - Modify - Contract - 1 pixel.

Press Delete.

Step 4

Layers - New raster layer.

Flood fill this layer with blue.

Effects - Texture effects - Blinds - with these settings:

Lower the Opacity of this layer to 50.

Selections - Modify - Contract - 12 pixels.

Press Delete.

Flood fill the selection with color #debecc.

Effects - Texture effects - Blinds - same settings, but now Horizontal not checked.

Selections - Modify - Contract - 12 pixels.

Press Delete.

Flood fill the selection with color #bfc39d.

Selections - Select none.

Step 5

Activate your Distortion tool.

Pull both ends so far out that they touch the left and right edges - see image below:

Effects - 3D Effects - Drop shadow - with these settings:

Close the bottom layer - merge the other layers visible.

Duplicate the line layer.

Image - Rotate - Free rotate - Left - 90 - nothing checked.

Step 6

Activate your Distortion tool.

Slide it about halfway along - place it on the left side of your image.

Erase everything what you can see on the horizontal lines.

Layers - Duplicate - Image - Mirror.

Your image should now look something like this:

Step 7

Open tube "LD-lintstrik".

I made the bow separately, so you could better color both parts, in case you use other materials.

Copy first the cross stitch, after that the bow.

Paste as a new layer on your working image.

Place the cross stitch in the left strip, below you place the bow - see image below:

Step 8

Copy tube "BOUQUET_PART_PATTYSDESIGNS".

Paste as a new layer on your working image.

Move the flowers a bit up.

Step 9

Copy tube "CocoaWishes-SID-Butterfly1".

Paste as a new layer on your working image.

Image - Resize - 45% - All layers not checked.

Adjust - Hue and saturation - with these settings:

Effects - Plugins - FM Tile Tools - Blend Emboss - default settings.

apply 1 or 2 times as you like best.

Layers - Duplicate - Image - Mirror.

Image - Resize - 80% - All layers not checked.

Adjust - Hue and saturation - with these settings:

Step 10

Activate your Text tool - font Ace Crikey - Size 60 - Stroke width 0,7 - see image below:

Set your foreground to silver pattern "diamonds" - same settings as before.

Set your background to gradient "Sommer" - with these settings:

For the gradient I have chosen 4 colors from the tube - through editing, you can customize your colors - click on "new" to save your just created gradient:

Step 11

Type your text.

Place your text at the bottom on the lines - see main image.

Layers - Convert to raster layer.

Selections - Select all.

Selections - Float - Selection Defloat.

Selections - Modify - Contract - 1 pixel.

Effects - Texture effects - Blinds - with these settings:

Effects - 3D Effects - Drop shadow - with these settings:

Step 12

Layers - New raster layer.

Selections - Select all.

Flood fill the selection with the silver pattern.

Selections - Modify - Contract - 1 pixel.

Activate your gradient - Repeats 4.

Flood fill the selection with this gradient.

Selections - Modify - Contract - 5 pixels.

Flood fill the selection with the silver pattern.

Selections - Modify - Contract - 1 pixel.

Effects - 3D Effects - Cutout - with these settings:

Selections - Select none.

Step 13

Add your name and/or watermark.

Save your crea as a jpg file and you're done!
