This tutorial was made in PSP 9, but can also be made in the other versions.

 

Here you can download the materials.

It contains: 4 tubes - 1 brush - 1 image.

The brush you need for your Eraser tool.

Mistetfantasyart and Mist-eries, thank you so much for your beautiful tubes.

 

Here you can download plugin Alien Skin Xenofex 2.

If you have placed everything in it's folder, you can start :-)

 

Step 1

Open a transparent image of 550 x 400 pixels.

Flood fill your image with color #184b57.

Step 2

Layers - New raster layer.

Selections - Select all.

Copy the image "Traumland".

Paste into the selection.

Selections - Select none.

Layers - Duplicate.

Adjust - Hue and Saturation - Colorize - with these settings:

Lower the Opacity of this layer to 50.

Activate your Eraser tool - find "feines Haar" and erase carefully the rails.

Zoom right in - set the size of your Eraser on the width of the rails.

It need not be perfect, but the dark blue of the original image must be invisible at the end.

Layers - Merge - Merge down.

Step 3

Copy tube "Pier".

Paste as a new layer on your working image.

Image - Resize - 70% - All layers not checked.

Image - Mirror.

Adjust - Hue and saturation - Colorize - same settings.

Lower the Opacity of this layer to 52.

Erase carefully with "feines Haar" the clear sky.

Place the tube against the left side.

Step 4

Copy tube "Mistedfantasyart".

Paste as a new layer on your working image.

Image - Resize - 70% - All layers not checked.

Lower the Opacity of this layer to 50.

Place her against the right side.

Erase carefully the sleepers for the rail road, you can see through her face.

Step 5

Copy tube "Kett".

Paste as a new layer on your working image.

Name this layer chain - because you need this layer later.

Move it down, so they lie on the track.

Erase also here, what you see through the face and a bit about the wood.

Step 6

Layers - New raster layer.

Selections - Select all.

Flood fill the selection with a silver pattern.

Selections - Modify - Contract - 2 pixels.

Flood fill with color #123337.

Selections - Modify - Contract - 10 pixels.

Flood fill with your silver pattern.

Selections - Modify - Contract - 2 pixels.

Press Delete.

Selections - Select none.

Step 7

Copy tube "Rahmen".

Paste as a new layer on your working image.

Add your name and/or watermark.

If you don't want to a animatie, save your crea as a jpg file and you're done!

Part 2 Animation

Step 8

Activate the chain layer.

Layers - Duplicate this layer 2x.

Activate the bottom one of the chain layers.

Effects - Plugins - Alien Skin Xenofex 2 - Constellation - with these settings:

Save as image 1. jpg in a folder of your choice.

I made an extra folder named Wizard, in where I save all pictures, I have made to make an animation.

Step 9

Edit - Undo.

Effects - Plugins - Alien Skin Xenofex 2 - Constellation - click on Random Seed.

Save as image 2.jpg.

Step 10

Edit - Undo.

Effects - Plugins - Alien Skin Xenofex 2 - Constellation - click on Random Seed.

Save as image 3. jpg.

Step 11

Open Animation Shop.

File - Wizard Animatie

Take the settings of below images so over as they are on the images - then click Next:

Find the folder you saved the 3 images.

Double click image 1 - after that, click Add image.

Do the same with the 2 other images, until they all 3 are in your screen - see image below:

Click Next.

Click Finish and your animation appears on your screen.

Step 12

View - Animation.

You now can see how your animation looks.

If you want your animation faster or slower, click on:

Animation - Frame properties - change here the number.

The lower the number - the faster is your animation.

Your animation is ready.

If you like it, save it in a folder of your choice.

You're done!
