Happy Valentine

 

This lesson was made in PSP 9, but can also be made in the other versions.

It contains: Tube - made by Liz - or use one of your own.

 

Preparation:

Open PSP.

Open your tube in PSP.

 

Step 1

Set your foreground color to #fd5e55 - or at your choice.

Set your background color to #820c06 - or at your choice.

Set your foreground to gradient 'Foreground-background' - with these settings:

Step 2

Open a transparent image of 700 x 700 pixels.

Flood fill your image with this gradient.

Effects - Distortion effects - Spiral - 180.

Step 3

Layers - New raster layer.

Flood fill this layer with white.

Lower the Opacity of this layer to 33.

Step 4

Copy your tube.

Paste as a new layer on your working image.

Effects - 3D Effects - Drop shadow - with these settings:

Step 5

Activate your Text tool - font Arial (is in Windows) - with these settings:

Set your fore- and background back to color.

Type your text.

Draw your text if necessary in width a bit.

Layers - Convert to raster layer.

Effects - 3D Effects - Drop shadow - with these settings:

Step 6

Add your name and/or watermark.

Layers - Merge - Merge all (Flatten).

Step 7

Image - Add borders - Symmetric - 5 pixels - background color (in some versions you have to merge the layers first).

Select this border with your Magic wand - with these settings:

Selections - Invert.

Effects - 3D Effects - Cutout - with these settings:

Selections - Invert.

Effects - 3D Effects - Inner bevel - with these settings:

Selections - Select none.

Step 8

Image - Resize - 650 x 650 pixels - All layers checked.

File - Export - JPEG-Optimalisation.

Optimalization value to 20.

Give your crea a name.
